Chapter 9: Homely Memories

I stepped out of the plane and looked around. It looked like a private airport. A limousine was waiting in front of the plane along with a few jeeps full of bodyguards. Avyaan was indeed filthy rich.

"You will love it here, Shona!" Avyaan muttered.

I didn't say anything. I didn't have the energy in me to fight to him or say anything to him. I couldn't tolerate him overpowering me anymore.

But one thing I knew was for sure. I could never love it here. I could never love anything about being caged.

He held my hand and we walked towards the limousine. I couldn't resist anymore, I knew I couldn't get away from him here, because if I did, I would land up in jail as I didn't have the visa for Belgium.

I jad ti accept this as my fate.

As we settled in the limousine. The driver drove it away from the airport towards the city. I looked around through the window and it was indeed a beautiful city.
