Chapter 8: First Look

NISHA

I felt my head heavy as I opened my eyes. It took me a moment to finally be able to see properly and I was shocked.

I immediately got up and looked around. I was in a private plane.

"What the..." I gasped.

"Don't worry Shona. You're in my plane and we're going to Belgium." I head Avyaan's voice.

I gulped and looked down the window. We were thousands of metres above the ground.

"I know you were unconscious, and we should have waited till you felt okay. But the doctor told that you're fine. You fell unconscious due to shock as you saw bloodshed for the first time, so I decided to take the flight. You can take rest, we will be taking few hours to reach."

He continued to speak without even taking me into consideration. I rolled ny eyes.

I sighed and I was immediately reminded of the sight I witnessed before I went unconscious. And now I knew, this wouldn't be the last time I would be witnessing it.

I cursed myself for the first time I saw him.

FLASHBACK

I was out in the streets of P
