"So when do we begin?" Adrian asked.

In his eyes, Connor could see the determination to help him. He appreciated it but still, something deep inside him told him that this might end up backfiring. The way he had been managing his affairs was good but still, he couldn't help but think that it was best that he handled his affairs without any outside help.

"Man, I don't know… I'm having some thoughts about this. Do you think I should do this alone?" Connor asked.

Adrian took a sip of his drink, thinking about what his friend had said. He didn't know what to say because he realized that this was a very sensitive situation and the last thing he wanted was to interfere in his business but still, he couldn't just sit back and watch his friend battle things that he could very well help him in.
