After the maids left, Annah was left alone, a sad, desolate mess. She couldn't understand why all of this was happening to her at that time of her life. Everything Connor had accused her of was very strange to her hearing and, deep down, she had a feeling that there was a mistake somewhere. She also knew that she was a victim of mistaken identity and the person Connor thought she was wasn't her at all.

''I need to find a way to make him believe me.'' Annah murmured.

She could barely move after what he did to her and looking for him around the house was definitely not an option she could consider. Many things were going on that she didn't know and she had no idea what to do. She couldn't even call her friend, Rita, call the people who meant so much to her, which just made everything frustrating.
