"Are you okay Annah? You look like you've seen a ghost," Matt chuckled.

Ever since he returned from bringing Fred from the airport, Annah had been acting strangely and he had noticed it. Her face was chalk white, like she had seen something she wasn't supposed to see. It surprised him to end because she wasn't usually like this.

"Oh, I didn't tell you." Kate chuckled.

Annah knew what she was about to say and she wasn't sure if she wanted to hear it from her but there was nothing she could do about it because the cat was already out of the bag.

"Tell me what?" Matt asked, a confused expression on his face.

"Annah has a crush on Fred, had it since when she was still in school." Kate said finally.

Annah expected Matt to scream and shout especially since she was in a mess now but what she did not expect was for him to smile like all of this was some funny joke.

"Really?" he chuckled.

"Yes," Kate said.

In all of this, Annah was tongue-tied. She didn't know what to say because ev
