Gianna

For a second, Nico just stared at me, almost as if he couldn’t believe his ears. But that second passed, and the next thing I knew, he grabbed my jaw, his fingers digging into my skin, and crushed his mouth against mine.

There was nothing soft about the kiss. It was violent, raw, fueled by rage and untamed masculine possessiveness. His other hand moved to my waist, gripping me hard enough to bruise as he shoved me backwards until my hips slammed into the edge of the kitchen island.

He pulled back just enough to tear my dress apart, the material ripped at the seams, the buttons scattering all over the floor. His hands slid up, wrapping around my throat, not choking, just holding, forcing me to feel how little control I had now. My breath caught. I hated how my body melted against his hold, seeking more even when I wanted to scream at him.

"You want to act like a little brat?" he rasped. "Fine. Let’s see how long you last." I gasped as he turned me around roughly, pressing my body flat against the kitchen island.

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you,” Nico hissed in my ear. His hand fisted in my hair, dragging my head back, and with his other hand, he shoved my panties aside and lined himself up. There was no warning. No sweetness.

He rammed into me in one brutal stroke, punching the air out of my lungs.

The stretch was savage. It burned and scraped and filled me to the hilt until I was clawing at the countertop, nails scratching against the cold marble. Nico didn’t let me adjust. He pulled back and slammed into me again, harder. Deeper. The force of it shoved me forward on the counter, my ribs hitting the edge painfully, but he just jerked me back by my hair, dragging me onto his cock until I could barely breathe.

He fucked me like he hated me.

Each thrust brutal, punishing, like he was trying to erase the memory of Maximus from my skin with the violence of his body. The wet slap of our bodies crashing together filled the kitchen, vulgar and raw. I bit my lip to keep from crying out, but he caught my chin in one rough hand and yanked my face toward his.

"Let me hear you," he ordered low, before slamming into me again so hard that my whole body rocked.

A broken sound ripped from my throat, and Nico grunted in satisfaction, fucking me faster, harsher, one hand digging into my hips painfully while the other pinned my wrists to the countertop, trapping me completely.

Every inch of me was his to use.

Tears stung my eyes from the intensity, from the overwhelming pressure building inside me, but still, he didn’t let up. His cock dragged against every nerve ending, relentless, brutal, until my legs shook and my stomach knotted painfully tight.

Nico let go of my wrists only to flip me over like I weighed nothing, shoving me onto my back on the cold marble.

I gasped at the chill, but then he was inside me again, wrapping my legs around him and thrusting so deep my head snapped back. It was both pleasure and pain, an intoxicating combination. He leaned over me, hips hammering into mine, a wild, unchained violence in the way he moved.

I grabbed at his shoulders, digging my nails into his skin as he kept going, faster now, unforgiving. His hair fell into his eyes, sweat dripping onto my chest as he drove into me over and over until my vision blurred.

The orgasm built slowly and cruelly, dragged out by the punishing rhythm, until I shattered with a sob, body convulsing around him so hard it knocked a strangled groan from his throat.

But even as I broke apart, Nico didn’t stop.

He fucked me through it, relentless, biting bruises into my neck and breasts, making sure I felt every inch of him, every furious thrust, until finally with a vicious snarl he buried himself deep one last time and came inside me, hot and thick. I could feel him trickling down my thighs.

"I hate you," I whimpered against his chest, clinging to him like he was the only thing holding me upright. And he was, because I was completely shattered. This was insanity.

"I know," he whispered back, voice cracked and ruined. “And that’s why I never wanted to get close to you, Gianna. Because this is who I am…this is what I am capable of…this is all I can give…”

This was it. This was my cue.

I moved back a little, evened my expression and met his dark gaze.

“Then give me…” I whispered, still panting. “If this is all you've got, then this is what I will take…” Nico’s eyes widened in surprise.

“Gianna…you don’t know what you’re talking about…” he said. “You…you want love…and…”

“You don’t get to decide what I want,” I said, my voice firm.

“It was you who refused this…you said you…” He trailed off, but I knew what he was implying.

I said I wanted love.

And I still do. As much as I enjoyed this savageness, I still wanted him to make slow love to me. But maybe that has to wait until I have broken down these walls around his heart. And I was fucking determined to. By hook or by crook.

“I changed my mind,” I said. “Love is clearly not something that’s meant for us, but this…” I let my hands slide down his body and further down before wrapping my fingers around his thick length. “Now that I have a taste of this…I want more. I want you unleashed, I want this rawness…because I am fucking tired of the tears and pain and running and chasing Nico. It’s exhausting. We’re married and there’s no going back, so we should find a middle ground rather than running from each other…”

“But you said you…?” he seemed thoroughly surprised.

“Love you?” I completed it for him. “Yeah, I did and maybe still do. But love needs to be reciprocated, or it’s going to collapse at some point. And you made it very clear that it’s not an option for us."

His eyes darkened, jaw clenching, but I could see this whole thing had tipped him off as he ran his fingers through his hair. Good. This was exactly what I needed.

“Take your time and let me know what you think,” I said, climbing down the kitchen island and trying not to wince as I grabbed my clothes and put on whatever torn scraps of my dress were left.

I would need to shower thoroughly.

“But if you feel this arrangement can’t work, then…” I gave him a look that said enough.

“Good night, Nico,” I muttered and with the memory of his baffled, pissed and confused expression etched in my brain, I headed upstairs.

Now that’s going to give him something to think about.

Gianna Nico was sitting on one of the barstools, sipping beer and, as always, wearing nothing but sweatpants. My first reaction was one of relief. At least he was safe. But once that registered, it quickly faded away, replaced by the anger and hurt that had been bubbling inside my chest since that night.“And not everyone is as lucky as Nicholas Baldocchi. I’m sure he doesn’t get tired of telling you that every day.” I snorted at the idea. If only Maximus knew. And how dare he ask me where I have been after being completely MIA for the last three days? He had no right to question me. None at all.“So you’re home,” I said flatly.“You didn’t answer my question,” Nico said, crossing his arms across his broad, tattooed chest. “It’s past midnight, Gianna, and you dodged security…”“I don’t owe you an explanation,” I answered,

Gianna“I…I am so sorry about that.”“Yeah,” he muttered nonchalantly. “I barely remember them anyway.”“And why is someone like you still single?” I couldn’t stop myself from blurting that out because honestly, how the fuck was someone like him single anway? “Sorry…I overstepped…” I added as he raised a brow at me.“Are you trying to confirm if I am gay?” he smirked, folding his arms across his chest. “Like your friend suspected?” My face heated up, and I reflexively bit my lip, averting my gaze. So he did hear that.Damn you, Tess.“I am not gay…Gianna,” Maximus breathed, leaning close enough that his minty breath fanned my face. “Had you not been married…I would have gladly proven that to you.” I blinked at him.Was he saying what I think he was saying?“What?” I croaked.“I am single because I haven’t found anyone worth investing my time and emotions in…yet,” he said, moving back. “Most women I meet want me either for my money, my connections or simply just someone hot to fuck the

Gianna“I can’t believe we are really doing this,” Teresa grinned as we drove to Maximus’s place for lunch the next afternoon. “This is incredible!”“It’s a bit…crazy,” I murmured. “I mean, what were the odds of me running into him at the party and then all this…”“Running into his arms…” Tess smirked. “It’s fate, baby.”“I guess,” I shrugged.“So, when do you plan to tell others?” she asked. “I have no idea why you haven’t told them yet.”“I just want to get it all absolutely finalized,” I said. “Leo will freak out, so I need to kind of create the ambience before I tell him.”“And what about Nico?” I didn’t like that look in her eyes—like I was some wounded puppy. So I just kept my face blank and shrugged again.“I tried to call him, but he didn’t pick up. I haven’t seen or heard from him in three days,” I said.“What?” Teresa exclaimed. “But why? Where is he?”“I have no idea. We…we had sex and well…things spiraled from there.” It was embarrassing to say out loud. Even to my best fri

2 days later…It’s been two days since Nico came home after that night, the remnants of which still kind of haunted me. No phone call. Not even a text. He couldn’t be bothered. And it feels like it has been an eternity since I heard from Maximus as well. Maybe my proposal didn’t get accepted after all.And Maximus did warn me of that.I sighed, stared at the doodle on my iPad and grimaced. What the fuck was that? I was trying to get some designs done…just in case. But even after wrecking my mind for the last two days, all I had was a doodle of a hamburger. Every time I tried to focus and think, all I could see was Nico clipping off that man’s fingers and enjoying it, his face and body splattered in blood stains. And all I could hear was his harsh, unfiltered words….“Then you’re just setting yourself up for more disappointment. And you can’t say that I didn’t warn you.”

Gianna The scream was terrifying enough to freeze my blood. My eyes shot open and fell straight on the ceiling, the LED lights embedded in it still twinkling. I just lay there, my heart hammering in my chest so loud that I could hear it.“You’re up,”I blinked twice at his familiar voice and then sat up at lightning speed, my body tensing up as we both stared at each other. Nico stood by the bed, a glass of orange juice in hand, and he was still in those low-hanging jeans. Thankfully, there was no more blood splattered across his face and body.“You’re running out of fingers.”Bile crept up my throat as the memories slammed into me. What he did to that man… I didn’t know how to erase the images now seared into my mind. I knew Nico was deemed as deadly but I didn’t know he was capable of…that.“Drink,” h

NicoDomani got it bad. I grimaced at all the blood pooling through his black T-shirt and the beads of sweat trickling down his forehead. His face was red too, jaw clenching as Caelian pressed his jacket into the wound harder.“What the fuck were you thinking?” I hissed, glaring at him.“There was no other choice…he would…have escaped,” he croaked before coughing out a mouthful of blood.“Leo and I were there,” I snapped.“You were out…numbered…argh..” he groaned in pain again, his eyes red. I pinched the bridge of my nose, trying to keep my calm.Domani was right—we were outnumbered. Leo and I couldn’t take on the men stashed in those damn containers alone. We held our ground, nearly lost the target, the guy who was barking orders, until Domani stepped in. He took two bull

GiannaCaelian leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, looking way too entertained for someone who had just eavesdropped on a very personal conversation. Why does he always sneak up like that?He pushed off the frame, walking toward us. “I have to say, I never thought I’d see the day someone tried to outmaneuver Nico Baldocchi in a game of control.” His gaze flicked to me, considering. “But it might just work.”Teresa’s eyes narrowed. “Who the fuck are you?”“Caelian Rizza. Nico’s right hand,” Caelian’s lips twitched in amusement as he inclined his head slightly “Apologies for overhearing, but your conversation was…hard to ignore.”“Well, enjoyed the show, did you?” Teresa huffed, crossing her arms.“Immensely,” Caelian smirked.“Great. Another smug bastard,” she rolled her eyes.“I am sorry…I do not want to intervene,” he muttered, turning to me and ignoring Teresa’s comment. “But as Nico’s best friend…I do feel this plan can work.”“And why would you think that?” I asked, raising

Gianna“Don’t worry, you did great, and your ideas are amazing,” Teresa reassured me, her eyes scanning through my portfolio. “Seriously, you’ve got some incredible concepts here.” I pushed my plate of food around absentmindedly and shrugged.“It doesn’t matter how great they are if the funding committee at Bellavanti doesn’t like them,” I muttered, my gaze flickering to my phone for what felt like the hundredth time.I knew it was too early to expect a response from Maximus, but the anxiety was starting to take hold. This was a massive opportunity, and I wanted it so badly. I could have Leo talk to Maximus, but that didn’t feel right. Plus, as Maximus said, the decision rested with the committee.“They’ll love it. I’m sure of it,” Teresa said confidently. “And damn his place looks amazing. You really hit the jackpot with Nicholas, huh?”I blinked at her, unsure how to respond. She was visiting me for lunch, and then we’d go over some business before I headed to Amara’s for dinner. Ni
