Chapter Thirty-Two Explain

Tatianna's POV

The phone goes dead, leaving my thoughts a jumbled mess. My Papá is gone; he passed away close to a month ago. So who is this man, and why did Giovanni call him my Papá?

I can feel myself staring blankly at the phone. Giovanni smirking as he takes it away from my face and places it in his pocket.

"This worked so much better than I expected. Who would have thought my boy would marry the Godfather's daughter?" He pulls out his key and turns to unlock the door; as its shutting behind him, I hear him call out;

 "Vinny, get the car ready!"

The door slams the rest of the way shut, and I'm left to sulk by my lonesome. If I ever do get out of her, Axon will owe me a huge explanation. I am not one to be left in the dark.
