Just because you're the oldest here doesn't mean you can hurt someone I care about, and I won't let that happen. Even though I'm young, I will stand up for what's right. Luna pushed Miss Catherine, who fell on the floor. Aurora was shocked to see Luna, who she thought was weak, turn into a strong protector. The room was quiet except for Miss Catherine's heavy breathing.

"How dare you?" Miss Catherine said angrily as she got up. She looked fierce, but Luna stood tall and didn't back down. "You can't treat her like this," Luna said firmly. "We need to support each other."

Miss Catherine narrowed her eyes. For a moment, it seemed like she almost showed some kindness, but then her cold glare returned. "You're foolish, Luna," she said. "This is how it is here. You either learn to survive, or you become a plaything."

Luna raised her chin defiantly. "We can do better," she replied.

Miss Catherine laughed mockingly. "You think you know better than me?" she challenged, stepping closer to Lun

The mansion was lively as Aurora, Damian, Luna, and Raphael walked through the grand doors. The maids were lined up, smiling and eager to welcome them back. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to see Aurora and the baby safe. Some whispered excitedly among themselves, while others simply looked on with joy.“Welcome back, Mrs. Wolfe!” Madam Catherine said warmly, stepping forward to greet Aurora. “And congratulations on your beautiful baby.”Aurora smiled, though her body still felt weak. “Thank you,” she said softly, leaning into Damian for support.Luna stood beside her, cradling the baby in her arms. The little girl was fast asleep, her tiny face peaceful. “Look at everyone,” Luna said, smiling brightly. “They’re all so happy for you, Aurora.”Damian gave a small nod, his eyes scanning the crowd. “They better be,” he said, his tone protective but light.Suddenly, Damian bent down and scooped Aurora into his arms, causing her to gasp in surprise. “Damian!” she exclaimed, her cheeks turn

The doctor walked into Aurora’s room with a bright smile, holding a clipboard. “Good news,” he said warmly. “Aurora is ready to go home. We’ve completed all the necessary checks, and both mother and baby are healthy.”Aurora looked up from where she was sitting, cradling her baby. Relief washed over her face as Damian, standing nearby, smiled. “Finally,” he said softly. “We can take you home where you’ll be more comfortable.”Luna clapped her hands together in excitement. “That’s wonderful! I’ll go and help with the discharge process,” she said, already moving toward the door.Aurora glanced down at her baby, a soft smile on her lips. “Home,” she whispered. “That sounds perfect.”After a few hours of preparations, Damian, Aurora, Raphael, Luna and the baby were ready to leave the hospital. Luna helped gather their belongings while Damian carried the baby in a soft, secure carrier. As they walked out to the car, Damian placed a protective arm around Aurora’s waist, guiding her gently.

The door to Aurora’s hospital ward opened suddenly, and Raphael strode in, his face lighting up as he saw the peaceful atmosphere inside. His eyes landed on Damian, who was standing near the bed with the baby in his arms, and then shifted to Aurora, who was still resting. Luna, who stood nearby, turned toward Raphael with a bright smile.“Raphael,” Luna called softly, walking over to him. Without hesitation, she hugged him warmly. “Look, isn’t the baby beautiful?” she asked, her voice filled with excitement.Raphael smiled down at her, his hands gently resting on her shoulders. “Yes,” he said with a soft chuckle. “She’s perfect. A tiny little miracle.” He paused, his teasing grin returning. “What about you, Luna? Do you want one?”Luna’s cheeks flushed a deep pink, and she quickly looked away. “Raphael!” she exclaimed, swatting his arm playfully. “Stop teasing.”Damian, who had been quietly watching the exchange, smirked. “Raphael, leave her alone,” he said, though there was amusement

  • The Mafia's mistress (His temptation)    First breath

Damian paced the hospital hallway, his hands clasped tightly behind his back. His heart raced with a mix of anticipation and anxiety. He barely noticed the passing nurses or the sound of footsteps around him. All he could think about was Aurora and their baby.A nurse walked toward him, her face kind but professional. She stopped in front of him and placed a gentle hand on his arm. “Mr. Wolfe,” she said softly, “please sit down. Everything is under control. Aurora is strong.”Damian stopped pacing and looked at her, his expression unreadable. “I can’t sit,” he said, his voice tense. “I need to know that they’re both okay.”The nurse gave him a reassuring smile. “The doctors are doing their best. I promise, you’ll see them soon.”He nodded slightly but remained standing, his body still filled with restless energy. He turned his gaze back to the door of the delivery room, his heart pounding. Finally, the door opened, and the doctor stepped out. His face lit up with a broad smile as he a

Taylor stepped out of the hospital, the cool air brushing against his face as he pulled out his phone. His mind was still racing from his encounter with Damian, but there was another loose end he needed to address. After all these years, it was time.He scrolled through his contacts and dialed a number he hadn’t called in over two decades. As the line rang, he steadied himself. Finally, a voice picked up.“Hello?” came a hesitant voice. It was her. Aurora’s mother.Taylor paused for a moment, his throat tightening. Then he spoke, his voice deep and firm. “It’s me.”The other end went silent, and he could almost hear the confusion through the phone. “Who is this?” she asked cautiously.“It’s Taylor,” he said simply, his tone carrying the weight of years. “We need to talk.”There was a sharp intake of breath on her end. “Taylor?” she repeated, disbelief thick in her voice. “Taylor, as in Aurora’s father?”“Yes,” he replied, his tone clipped. “It’s me.”“What do you want?” she asked, her

  • The Mafia's mistress (His temptation)    A delicate truce

Taylor stepped out of the room where his blood had been drawn, his movements calm and deliberate. The sight of him immediately sent a wave of anger through Damian, who was standing across the hall, his arms crossed tightly over his chest. The hatred in Damian's eyes was unmistakable, burning like a flame that refused to die.Taylor caught the look, but he didn’t flinch. Instead, he walked closer, his steps steady, his expression unreadable. When he stopped in front of Damian, he let out a long sigh. “You still hold onto that hate,” Taylor said, his voice even.Damian’s jaw clenched, his fists balling at his sides. “You think I shouldn’t?” he growled, his tone low but sharp. “You killed my sister. You destroyed my family.”Taylor raised an eyebrow, his face calm despite Damian’s obvious rage. “And yet,” he said slowly, “here we are. You’ve impregnated my daughter. Tortured her. Manipulated her. Doesn’t that pay for the wrongs I’ve done to your family?”Damian stepped closer, his should
