Chapter two
A sleek Cybertruck was parked just outside the marriage registry. Its tinted windows gleamed under the afternoon sun. Inside, seated in the back seat, was a man dressed in a sharp black suit, his expression unreadable. Jason, his driver, turned slightly from the front seat and said in a low voice, “Boss... your bride scammed us.” His jaw tightened. Lorenzo had feared something like this might happen. He didn’t say a word at first. Then, calmly, “Find me a bride, Jason.” Jason blinked. “Sir?” “You heard me.” Lorenzo stepped out from the car going towards the registry building. He needed the ceremony delayed. As he reached the steps, a scream broke through the air. He looked up just in time to catch a falling bride. She landed in his arms, breathless and shaken. Tears streaked her cheeks. She clung to his shirt, trying to steady herself. Jason saw this, he was going to intervene but a single glare from Lorenzo sent him back. “Are you okay?” he asked. Lucia's eyes fluttered open. She stared at him, stunned. His face was striking, sharp features, black eyes, unreadable. “I... I think so,” she said, pulling away from his arms. “You were crying.” She wiped her face. “My fiancé... he cancelled the wedding. Today.” His gaze narrowed. He just looked at her for a while then dropped the bombshell. “Marry me,” he said. “What?” Her voice cracked. “Marry me.” “I don’t even know you.” “I don’t take no for an answer.” His baritone deepened. “Marry me, and everyone who hurt you will regret it.” Lucia stared at him. Her hands trembled again. She wasn't the type of girl that would jump on any handsome guy she meets. "Sorry." She was going to walk away. He grabbed her arms. "Don't you feel bitterness, anger, and the urge to revenge. We don't know anything about ourselves but I can't let you walk away from me." Lucia's heart beat so fast as if she ran a marathon. Who was this man? But does it really matter now? She has lost everything. Mike made his choice and her step mother made it clear there is nothing she can do to change that. She might not have Mike as her husband. What if she can make Mike regret this day? Lucia gulped saliva. “I’ll marry you,” she whispered. A sinful smile curved up his lips “Good.” "The priest is waiting." Lorenzo took Lucia's hand. As she took a step she winced and stumbled. Lorenzo caught her. His next action sent an electrifying sensation into Lucia's body. He swept Lucia off her feet in a bridal style. “You don’t have to.” she started shyly “You can’t walk,” he said simply. “Let’s not make this harder.” He carried her down the hall and into a private room. A few men in black suits looked up, confused. Jason soon returned with a priest. “Start the ceremony,” Lorenzo said. The priest hesitated, then began. Lucia felt a tight knot in her stomach because Lorenzo's hands were around her waist as she leaned on him like a child. “I now pronounce you husband and wife.” Lorenzo signed the document. Lucia leaned forward, wincing. Something caught her eyes, his full name. Lorenzo Salvatore. Her stomach dropped. “You’re a Salvatore?” “Yes I am.” “As in the mafia?” Lorenzo met her eyes without flinching. "Yes," he said. "The same Salvatore who owns half of Brooklyn Town. We rule with power and we’re feared for a reason." A chill ran down her spine. She wasn’t sure if it was fear… or the thrill of knowing she stood so close to a man like him. “You’re not joking?” she asked again. “I’m not joking.” There was no lie in his eyes. This man is the famous Lorenzo Salvatore. Lucia's throat went dry. She hesitated, then picked up the pen and signed. “It’s done,” the priest confirmed. Jason handed Lorenzo a small box. He opened it and placed a diamond ring on her finger. “It was my grandmother’s.” Lucia looked at the ring, then at him. “i'm not worthy of this ring. You don't know me ” “ I follow my instincts,” Lorenzo replied. “I don’t care about your past. But from today on, things will be different. Anyone who tries to hurt you won’t get away with it.”"fuck" Lucia whispered under her breath. His hand slipped through the slit of her gown, finding the wet warmth of her thigh. Her face turned pink. She felt embarrassed. Lucia clenched her lips, her breath shallow, chest rising. “Lucia…” he whispered, voice husky. “Should I stop?”Her fingers dug into his shirt. “No.”He squeezed her butt cheek softly, dragging her hips closer. She gasped as her body pressed against his. His mouth captured hers, slow at first, then deeper, his tongue sliding in, causing a soft moan from her lips. The kiss was growing wild, their breaths mixing. "Lorenzo....hmmm..."Lucia held onto him, her back arching when his finger fucked her tight asshole. "Fuck..." Her eye balls rolled. "Ahhh...ahhh"Lucia's hands fled to her mouth, muffling her moans. He pulled back just enough to look into her eyes. "You are all mine Lucia.""Yes."She said Lorenzo swept her off her feet carrying Lucia on his shoulder. She didn't complain when he smacked her ass. All
“Lucia.”His lips parted the moment she stepped into his view. Her red gown wasn't just any red but a striking red that made her glow under the soft luminous lights. The dress hugged her just right, brushing her ankles with every step, with a slit that swayed with her movements like temptation itself."Red is an interesting colour, it stands for many things but for tonight it signifies our love. I must say it looks rather good on you far more than anyone else." He slightly bowed with one hand at his back. Lucia's lips gently curved into a subtle smile. She tucked a lock of hair behind her ear, and his eyes immediately fell to her fingers."May I?" He held her fingers as if he was holding an egg. He placed the marriage ring she had left behind to her fingers again. It dazzled under the stars. Lucia tilted her head in her soft voice. “Thank you.”For a second, he just stood there, throat tight on what to say next. This was the man who would command board members, and dare raise
Now at Monroe's house.Lucia's eyes remain widened at the text she received. Using her fingers she counted the figures just to make sure she wasn't hallucinating. 15,000,000.00 credited to your account.Fifteen million. She gasped. Stunned at the same time. Her fingers trembled slightly as she held the phone closerLucia let out a shaky breath. She had never seen that much money in her life. Not in a month, not in a year, not even in her wildest dreams. And it had just been credited to her account in seconds.BuzzzzzHer phone vibrated in her hands. A call from a strange number. She stared at the number for a second before answering.“Hello?” she said, cautiously.“Lucia,” came Lorenzo’s voice deep, warm, and full of concern “Where have you been?”She paused, her tone dry. “Why do you ask like you care?”There was a short silence on the other end. Then his voice returned, quieter now.“Because I do,” he said. “I know I’ve been gone too long. I shouldn’t have left without explainin
Earlier Lorenzo sat at his desk, staring at the plank screen of his laptop, but his eyes were unfocused. The words in front of him made no sense. His mind wasn’t in the office it was with Lucia. He leaned back in his chair and sighed deeply. He couldn’t stop thinking about her. The way she would blush every time he caught her staring at him made his cold stone heart flush. How she tried to act annoyed but couldn’t hide her smile. Her softness, her scent, her laugh… everything about her was in his head like a loop he couldn’t escape. He missed her. More than he expected to.Was this an obsessionA gentle knock came at the door. His secretary walked in, heels clicking softly. She wore a tight shirt with the top buttons undone, and her skirt had a high slit that showed too much for the workplace. She walked confidently toward him and placed a few files on his desk. “Here are the reports, sir,” she said with a smile that lingered too long. “You’ve been working all day. Would you like
Chapter SevenLucia felt a pain in her chest, worst than the first time Mike betrayed her. “Has my husband called?”Lucia asked the maid“Not at all. He must be really busy.” She responds with a hint of mockery. As Lucia turns her back she hears the giggle of the maid. Lorenzo was gone for three days. She was sitting on the edge of the bed , staring at her phone screen. No calls. No texts. Nothing. Not a single word from him.The silence gnawed at her. Had he forgotten about her? Was Serena right? She tried not to let her words sink in, but the loneliness, the emptiness in the halls, and his absence were starting to prove her right.By the fourth morning, Lucia decided she couldn’t sit and wait anymore. She left his ring on the bed. She took a taxi, if he cared so much like the first time. he would come looking for her. She stopped in front of the only place she knew as home. Immediately she entered the house. The first person who welcomed her was her step-mother.“Well, we

Smoke floated in the air, and slow music played in the background.“Touch me Lorenzo”Says a sexy voice behind a mask. She placed his hands on her hips.Lorenzo felt the softness of her skin. Her curves are thick and provoking. He sat in a deep red chair, while she had her legs crossed on him.
