AFTER WHAT happened, Althea continued to harbor hatred for the man. Not only was he cunning enough to destroy her hopes, but the man also managed to force her into his desires every time he wanted them. It did not matter where it was, or how he wanted it to occur . . . All that matters is how he will get what he wants, and she will have no choice but to oblige.

It was a Sunday morning when the man rose from the bed and started tidying himself. He casually grabbed his shirt on the floor before buttoning it up on the bedside table. Althea watched him carefully on the sidelines, pretending to be asleep when his eyes turned to face her.

"Don't pretend to be asleep; I can feel your gaze drilling into the back of my head," the man uttered before a small grin drew on his lips. Meanwhile, she rose from the bed with scorn on her face.

"If only my eyes could kill, I would have killed you in your sleep," Althea said, hissing. The man just let out a chuckle, as though his woman's threatening word
