Chapter 15: The Assistant
Taylor Baker’s POV
It has been a few weeks when I was called for the interview and I don’t have any calls yet from them. I sighed as I was back in the restaurant that I was working before I resigned. The manager was looking smugly at me before he was striding away from me to greet the woman that he was talking before.
“It’s alright, dear. We all can feel that you are sad that you cannot have the job that you applied for. Perhaps there will be more to come later on,” the Cook said as I was smiling at her. she was sweet person and I know that she was probably in her 60s but her food was delicious.
