Vinny

Luca beamed at me as I walked across the training grounds. Luca was a very large werewolf, extremely good looking with long chocolate brown hair and bright blue eyes. He should have been intimidating; however he was a shameless flirt, notorious ladies’ man and a real class clown which made any attempt to be intimidating a joke. It was all a ruse. Like anyone in the inner circle, Luca was dangerous. Lethal.

“Heard you get to visit our friend.”

“Word travels fast.”

“It’s Blackfern Valley.” He winked. “Nah, Alpha told me that you would be helping with the session today but then to escort you to the cells.”

“Escort me?” I bristled.

“Don’t think anything of it. No one goes into those cells alone. That dude is a wolf on steroids.” He laughed before changing the subject. “Do you want to go and get the balancing equipment? The next class should be arriving soon.”

The warrior training grounds were a large dusty open space situated to the side of the amphitheatre. There were a few grassy
