CHAPTER 05

Lily's POV

The time now is midnight and she likes to express her emotions about the mistreatment and bullying of those people that she encounters every day.

A peppermint and wood scent spread to her nose. What a lovely and nice scent. She looked for it and walked towards a lake.

“ Mate!" A word that she hears and can not believe that her wolf has appeared now.

The man who has been facing his back turns around. Shock is evident on his face and turns into hatred.

“ You can't be my mate ". A handsome man said and held her shoulder tightly.

“ I want no other people to know that you are my mate mere Omega ", Alpha Jazzen said.

“ But you are my mate? "I stared at his raven eyes.

“ Tomorrow when I hear some nonsense that you are my mate I will kill you and banish you here. You will regret that you are born in this pack"!

I felt the heartache that was stabbing my heart multiple times. A ran towards the forest and cried so much.

The whole pack is busy preparing now for the celebration for today. Being an omega we woke up early and started to prepare the food and arrange the chairs. Other werewolf packs are invited also.

“ You with the blonde hair stop idling and do your work or else you can not eat". The woman with ragged clothes said. She is another omega residing in this place.

I picked up the trash, cleaned the table, and started to arrange the plates for the visitors. Praying that I am the mate of Jazzen. Knowing that a leech is clinging to him. I can not be more disappointed and I want to take revenge for that crazy bitch! Being punished and unfortunately being an omega.

“ Look what we have here, an Omega wanted to be a Luna. Unfortunately, you are destined to be just a servant forever. How sad to be in your shoes"!

A loud voice was heard. It was no other than Catherine the woman who claimed to be the next Luna of the pack. Wearing a glamorous outfit it is a white ball gown with a big ribbon at the front. Flaunting her front provocatively she swings it hard.

“ Well, we will see that later once the next Luna is announced". I said to her thinking she would be the one who would be heartbroken later.

“ You! How dare you talk back. You lousy piece of crap! You will pay for this ". Catherine walks towards me in slaps me on the face. It hurts so much because of her long red nails. The impact puts me on the floor. I cupped my face and stared angrily at her.

“ I will make sure you will regret it once I become the next Luna". I said to Catherine. Her face becomes sour and ready to pounce on me once again. But she hesitates and just smiles wickedly are me.

“ Well, we will see it later on". Catherine leaves in a hurry.

“ What a psychotic woman". I said to myself.

Once the venue for the has been ready we were instructed to go back to our quarters. I am now walking towards my home. Remembering the times that my parents were around aches my heart but despite that, I should remain stronger.

Somewhere in a distant place, two figures have been secretly lurking in the shadows. They have golden eyes that shine in the dark. Moving cautiously and keeping their aura hidden.

Back at the pack, all the guesses have arrived. Wearing glamorous outfits for the event. Each of them represents their proud lineage. While we as the omega are not included in the event. I do not worry because I am sure that I will be the next Luna. I just feel it in my inner self.

I sneak at the celebration secretly once the party starts I steal the uniform of one of the waitresses hiding my face with a mask.

“ I am so excited for the future of our pack". A she-wolf wearing a red sexy outfit speaks. It was no other than the daughter of the pack Gamma.

She is Georgia Smith also eyeing the seat of the Luna.

The venue is extremely decorated with a gold and silver theme. Despite that the atmosphere is elegant. I am now standing in front right side.

If everyone knew that I was his mate maybe he would not hesitate to reject me if only I tried once more. I just can not be defeated maybe Catherine is making lies to Jazzen. Therefore I should not be a coward and fight for my mate.

“ Let's welcome today our celebrant is no other than Jazzen Winter. His 21st birthday will be the day that he will be the next Alpha. The host an ounce of the appearance of him.

“ I forgot that today is also my birthday". I told myself silently. Many things just happen suddenly and it distracts me. I stared at Jazzen when he walked in front.

“ Thank you, everyone, for being here. I am standing here because I have a special announcement to make. I will now introduce my other half, my mate, and my life. It is no other than Catherine Lee". Jazzen looks in the direction of a very sexy woman wearing a red long gown.

“ I am so surprised that I am your mate Jazzen. Being here in front of everyone feels good. Now that I am your beloved mate. I will do my best to cherish you". Catherine closed the distance between her and Jazzen. She hugged him and kissed his lips passionately.

A sharp pain once again stabbed me in my heart. I just stood for a minute but I just could not be allowed this to happen. I am his real mate of him. Not that pathetic to manipulate women. I walked into the center and decided to reveal the information that would shock the guesses.

“ I am the real mate of him! Why are you lying Jazzen? Did this woman blackmail you? You know that I am your other half. Just why are you doing this?" I shouted at the top of my lungs.

“ No! You are lying trash. Why are you so stubborn? Do you think someone will believe in you? A mere omega who had no guardian. Also, you attempted to murder the next Alpha". Catherine became hysterical at the words I had just spoken to them.

“ I am telling the truth to all of you. Yesterday I discovered that Jazzen is my mate and I know someone just manipulated him to reject me. "

All of the guests have this bewildered face. Some of them just can not believe what is happening.

“ You misunderstood I do not think that you are my mate. Being delusional about being my other half is a big offense. Look at yourself are you confident that you will be suited for the next Luna? You are just an omega without your wolf you are just useless". Jazzen angrily stated. The words that he spoke cut deep into my heart.

“ But I did feel the bond. Why are you doing this? Are you not afraid of the moon Goddess? I do not believe you!" I shouted. Looking at him with that she-wolf felt like I was stabbed by a knife.

Catherine walks in my direction. Her face was distorted and her eyes grew bigger. I stared intently at her. I will not stay still and just let her steal him.

Pak! She swings her hand and slaps me in the face.

“ You how many times do I tell you that you are nothing and useless! Why are you ruining my life you bitch! " Catherine was so angry that her makeup had been ruined.

“ I will not back down 'cause I am the real mate of the new alpha! You are just delusional." My voice cracked and I felt like crying. I saw that the guesses were confusing and gossiping about what was going on. Jazzen pulled my hair and kicked me in my stomach. I hear a rattling sound of being broken.
