"Lily, are you sure you're okay with this?" my mom asked, concern evident on her wrinkled face. I assured her that I was fine. Being their only daughter, I had been adopted by them since I was a baby.

Cleaning the corridor was a simple task for me, but it could be tiring at times. I was currently studying in high school, but as a werewolf omega, life in the pack was challenging. The omega position was not an easy one to imagine.

Once I finished mopping the floor, I had an hour left to get ready for school. It was 7:30 a.m., and my classes would start at 8:30 a.m. As I walked, I heard the sound of stilettos approaching.

"What do we have here? The pathetic omega is here, wiping this dirty floor," a woman with blonde hair sneered, barely dressed. It was Miss Catherine, the daughter of our pack's Beta. I ignored her comments and focused on finishing my task quickly so I could prepare for school.

"You ignorant bitch! Who are you to ignore me? I am the future Luna when Jazzen becomes the alpha," she taunted. Suddenly, she swung her bag at my face, and the sharp metal part cut my right cheek. Blood began to flow, but I endured the humiliation, knowing it would only cause trouble for my adoptive parents.

"Serves you right, you pathetic loser," she mocked before walking away. Miss Catherine had been bullying me since I was five years old. Maybe she was jealous of my appearance, as I had long silky white hair, thick eyelashes, porcelain skin, and emerald eyes.

After cleaning, I headed to the public bathhouse to bathe. Omegas like me were given less desirable places to live. Walking towards the school premises sent a chill down my spine. I was back in this hellish school to study. As an omega, we had a separate classroom where strict and discriminatory teachers taught us.

Taking notes and listening to the teachers could be boring, but I was grateful for the opportunity to learn. When the bell rang for break time, all the students rushed to the cafeteria to enjoy the school's delicious food. Since I had no friends, I preferred to be alone and avoid the mean girls' eyes.

I wasn't a coward, but I couldn't bear to cause my parents any trouble. They could hurt me emotionally or physically, but I couldn't stand them hurting my parents. The cafeteria offered a sandwich, orange juice, spaghetti, and a cola. I grabbed my food tray and walked towards the most secluded seat. However, as I carried my tray, I noticed that all the students were staring behind me.

"Hey, watch your step, woman. Step aside," a man with a neat haircut said, causing me to step back and give them space to pass. Once they were gone, I headed towards the nearest seat. Occasionally, enjoying this delicious food pleased me, as back in the pack, we were given bland meals.

"Hey, you stupid woman! Can't you see I'm eating? Your ugly face disgusts me," Catherine exclaimed, targeting a female student with glasses. The poor girl ran away, covering her head in humiliation. I was taken aback by Catherine's behavior, but as an omega, there was nothing I could do. Omegas were simply used for labor and disregarded.

"What do we have here? Is an omega trying to get the attention of my future alpha? I saw you eyeing Jazzen just now. You even stepped forward as they passed," Catherine accused, delusional about her love for Jazzen, the alpha's son.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I simply stepped aside for them to pass. You're just being delusional," I calmly replied, ignoring her foolishness. Suddenly, she thrust a hard metal object into my face, and sticky food splattered all over me. Catherine reveled in being mean and inflicting violence, knowing she was protected as the Beta's daughter. I stood up and left the cafeteria.

People laughed and cheered for Catherine, but I refused to cry in front of them and give them the satisfaction they desired. As I cleaned the backyard, the cold breeze embraced me. Everyone was busy preparing for our alpha's birthday celebration, which would be attended by invited alphas and Luna from other packs.

Having a mate who cared for and loved me was considered precious in the werewolf world. I had once yearned for my mate, hoping they would accept me and take care of me.

As an omega, I was tasked with serving food to the visitors. I used to be a waitress, wearing a black top and a mini skirt. Once I finished serving, I excused myself and slipped out through the back door. Jazzen looked handsome in his black coat, and I couldn't help but admire him secretly. I didn't know why, but I felt a connection to him.

He stood there, conversing with his friend, when I noticed their attention shift towards me. Their eyes, filled with an unsettling intensity, stared at me, making me feel uneasy. The man accompanying him locked his gaze onto me, but there was something undignified and disturbing in his stare.

Without warning, he forcefully grabbed my hand and dragged me into a secluded area, away from prying eyes. Fear gripped me as I found myself trapped in his grasp. In a desperate attempt to defend myself, I sank my teeth into his hand, hoping to free myself from his hold.

"You bitch! What have you done?" the man exclaimed, his voice echoing through the air and capturing the attention of those at the party. I realized that I was now in a perilous and vulnerable position, with all eyes on me.
