CHAPTER 10

Edward trained me how to depend on myself. I am a werewolf but I can not transform into one. There is no time to go idle and hoping just to get better. First, I am practicing to run fast. That is the first thing to do. His property has a huge training ground at the back of his mansion.

All of the equipment for training is available this is great. First, I am training my running and also my stamina. I run as fast as I can. There is no time for crying for those bastards.

“Miss, we have your breakfast and snacks ready. We put it at the shed and we arranged it for you.’’ A woman with I estimated age of 40 years old said to me.

“Okay, I will do that I will just wash my hands.’’ I do not waste any time and get my hands washed at the nearby faucet. In my peripheral vision, I saw that they were preparing the food and beverages. I was wondering why there is a virus that is spreading now. This is alarming that whether a certain species gets infected will turn into a savage.

Right now, I am as weak as a chicken. Maybe there is a way for me to be stronger. I plan to run more once I finish eating. Walking towards the golden shed. It was decorated with tulips. What a beautiful sight to see. This is the first time that I am being comfortable being just idle.

When I was walking towards the servants preparing those delicious foods. I hear a scream near the front of the mansion. The people especially the servants are screaming for help. A growl can be heard and blood is evident.

“What is happening? Did the virus spread easily that the mansion manor is now affected?’’. I need to think about how to hide for the time being. Being weak is a very troublesome matter. The servants that are in the shed run inside the mansion. Now I am the only one in here. What should I do?

“Roar! Grrrr…." A woman with a torn dress that had been splashed with blood is walking in my direction. She walks like a drunk person. Her eyes are now been all black. Salivating and not walking properly. This is so alarming!

I ran to the nearest tree and climbed. I saw a very frightening sight. The woman is now transforming into a monster. Her hands turn all black and it melt. But that is not finished at all. Her body is producing a mist suddenly she looks in my direction with a tilted neck. Two eyes are all black and smirking at me. It frightens me to the bone. She walks towards me crawling not because she does so it is because of her melting body.

“What should I do?” I hope Edward will find me. I closed my eyes preparing for my doom. When suddenly I feel that my heart is beating too fast and I can not breathe normally. I feel a certain strong energy that is deep within my heart. I just want to run and release this energy. I bent my legs and jumped down from the tree.

“You can not take me down and eat me.” The tragedies that happened to me shaped me to become a stronger woman. I see four monsters that are running in my direction.

“Edward, I want to wait for you but right now it is impossible for me to just accept my fate.’’ I want to fight for my own now. Maybe we can meet in the future but I want to be stronger and deserving to be with you.

Once I jumped down on the ground. I take a look for the last time. Tears flowed down from my eyes. Despite meeting him for a short time, he shows me how to be treated right. He showed me to hope for the future and not just chase none.

I started to run towards the green forest. Once again, I run away for my life not having a broken heart but because of a terrible circumstance. This is just the beginning of an alarming that is swallowing all of the species living in the world.

This is just me doing the right thing for my own now. My feet hurt from running through a vast forest that is full of thorns. No time for complaints though. When a certain tree caught my attention, it was so huge that five people were needed for the tree to be able to be measured. Huge trunks and roots are evidence of that. I think this is an ancient tree.

I just rest for a while in this huge tree. The tree should be a magical tree for sure. What a sight to see. I just remember that this is the portal for the enchanted creatures that is the fairies.

“ Please forgive me for my unjust behavior I just want to take a rest for a moment,’’ I said to the tree apologetically. Those creatures do not want their precious magical tree to be disrespected.

Sweat started to fall on my face. I wet my white crossdress. The dust, dirt, and muddy water stick to my dress.

“Grrrrr……..grrrrrrrr’’ An eerie sound can be heard not far from my location. What should I do? There is an infected not far from me. I look around for me to hide but all I can see is wild dandelions and carabao grass. This is hopeless, suddenly an infected jump at my location. It was a man with a melted face that produced a green slime. Looking at her with a flowing saliva on his disfigured face.

Before it can bite her, the tree emits light that shows a bright light.

“The portal to the other dimension just opens. This is luck for her. The light forms like a circle door. Immediately I run towards it and not look back at the back fearing the infected will catch up to me.

I close my eyes for the sudden changes it gives me a headache. I lost consciousness and everything went black.
