I heard the rumbling sounds of an engine from outside the beach house and dried my hands with a towel before heading out, wondering who the hell disturbed people with an engine at such an hour of the night.

When I got out, I was surprised to see Keegan on a really cool black bike with a helmet on his head and another helmet on the bike handle. He did something that made the engine roar again.

“Whoa, where did you get this from?” I swept my hand over the head of the bike.

“A long story, but anyway, there’s a bike. Hop on.”

“Where are we heading to?”

“The concert is coming up soon. We can go on a bike ride and maybe do other things before heading to the club.

I was grinning ear to ear as I responded, “sounds like fun! I’ll grab the tickets and get into denim trousers.”
