"Okay, enough drinking for now!" Gregory pushed me away from him slightly.
I almost didn't let go of him because his blood made me quench my thirst as well as satisfy my hunger. But I never thought that I would see his memories from my vision from drinking his blood. It's so vivid as a dream but the only difference is that it was his memory.
Gregory wiped his blood from my lips clean with his thumb. I feel like a child who needs to be taken care of by an adult. But I like the gesture and I can get used to it. Nobody has taken care of me ever since my grandma passed away. But it's too much to ask from anyone until Gregory.
"Welcome to my world!" Gregory said to me, smiling sweetly.
I wasn't able to take a good look at him when we were on the other side. Maybe because I was so focused on Angel at that moment. Plus the fact that I was supposed to be dead. The angel of death came to bring me to the afterlife. But Gregory stops it from happening and Angel just disappears.
Gregory is about six feet tall and he has a lean body. He looks like a model from a runway because of his charms. His skin is pale white like snow. It's probably because there's no blood running through his veins. He has jet-black hair that almost touches his shoulders.
He's too perfect to be real. But here he is sitting in front of her, smiling. He has a deep set of dark brown eyes that look enchanting. Anyone who looks close to them will feel like they are floating. I'm not an exception because the more I look at his eyes, the more handsome he gets.
"Hey, baby! Are you okay?" He asked with his deep and sexy voice.
"Huh? Yeah..." That's all I can say.
Gregory laughed at my reaction and hugged me. It feels like he's so amazed at how I responded to him. Like I'm very special and the only one who can make him smile. I feel confused about how a vampire can be so affectionate and nice to me.
"You feel so warm!" I exclaimed, noticing that he feels like a human.
Gregory let go of me and kissed my cheek. After that, he looked me straight in the eye as if he's about to cry. He seems to be so emotional for a vampire. But seeing him like this made me feel guilty about calling him a pale vampire earlier. He looks at me as if he loves me!
"I just drank some blood earlier before I went to see you, that's why I'm warm." He explained.
"I also drank your blood. Is that mean…" I can't get myself to finish my question.
"Yes, baby! You're a newborn vampire now." He confirmed what I'm not sure if I want to hear.
"Alright, you have to stop calling me baby! It's making me uncomfortable." I suggested.
"But you are a baby! You're a newborn vampire. I created you and let you drink my blood." He explained in too many details.
"Let's also stop talking about drinking blood. It feels too weird for me." I replied.
"Sure, I'll give you some time to adjust. But for now, you have to change your clothes." He agreed.
Gregory got up and pointed to the dress that he wanted me to wear before walking towards the door. I also get up and check the dress to see how it looks. I picked it up and realized that it's a bridal dress without the veil. That's why it looks so white from afar.
"What's this?" I asked before Gregory could leave.
"That's your wedding dress. We're going to be married right now!" He replied casually and left.
I was left in shock after hearing what the vampire just told me. Sure, he mentioned me being his bride from the other side. But I didn't expect that the wedding would happen right away. I just woke up from traveling with the other side and drinking blood for the first time.
It looks like I don't have a choice but to wear this white dress since I'm at the mercy of that vampire. So I take off my clothes and change into a bridal dress. It's a perfect fit and I bet it looks good on me. So I look for a mirror but I don't see any inside this room.
I decided to just get out of the room and look for Greg. It's a huge place that seems to be a mansion judging from its size. I almost fall to my knees when I get out of the room. This place is not just big but the ceiling is also high. As if she's inside a cathedral or a big church.
"Greg! I'm already here." I announced loudly to make sure that he would hear me.
"Wow, you look so beautiful!" Gregory exclaimed the moment he saw me.
I would blush if I'm still human because I can feel that my cheeks feel warmer. He's been so nice to me since I woke up. Now, his compliment makes me feel embarrassed. I didn't even see myself in the mirror yet. Maybe I should ask him.
"Thanks. Where's the mirror? I don't see anything from the room." I asked.
"We don't use mirrors because we can't see our reflection there anyway." Gregory laughed.
Realization hits me and I just remember that vampires don't have a reflection from the mirror. It will be challenging to know how I look now since I can't see myself anymore.
"Where are we?" I asked instead while trying to forget about the mirror issue.
"It's the Cathedral of Saint Andrew," Gregory replied.
That's why it's so huge and the ceiling is high!
"Why are we here?" I asked, confused.
"I told you, we're getting married right now," Gregory told me and I froze.
"I think you have to talk to your dad about that part," I told my son as we walked back to the enchanted mountain.Marius fell silent and didn't say anything anymore. I have a feeling that he met a girl while he's roaming around the area. But I'm not in the position to teach him about finding his companion. Gregory will be able to do that for him. That made me think about how I fell for his father. He stalked me and turned me into a vampire without my consent. It was forced and I can't do anything about it anymore. But I've grown to love him as time passes by. Will Marius need to do that as well?Gregory catches up and all three of us walk towards the balete tree. Even if we can be there faster, we decided to walk like mortals for some bonding t
Marius saw a village that seemed to be hidden from the woods. He has never been this far from the enchanted mountain. It seems to be a different place now and maybe he should go back. His mother will not be happy if she finds out.But being here by himself makes him feel free. Ever since he was born, he's always been with his mother. As a vampire, he grew up so fast. That's why he outgrows everyone around him. He's an adult now but still wasn't able to go home. All he knows is that the werewolves are after him. That's why they ended up on the other side. But now, they are staying in the enchanted mountain. He's sick and tired of not being able to be free to go everywhere. That's why he decided to get out of there. He just watches the villagers g
The werewolves arrived at the Witch of the West where Claire, the psychic, lives. The alpha seems to like visiting her almost every day. She was able to drive the vampire child to the other side. That means that they will be trapped forever.Claire also directs Count Gregory and the grim reaper to the dark cave. It's not easy for anyone to deceive them. She was also able to send the monsters to the ghost bride so she will not talk anymore. It's a perfect plan to avoid the prophecy."Claire, my dear! Any updates about the vamps?" The alpha werewolf asks her."There's none, my love! I told you, I already sent them to their death." Claire replied and received a kiss from him."Good girl! I think that the prophecy will no longer happen now." The alpha werewolf feels satisfied.Claire smiles for him sweetly and they go inside her room. She's a good actress indeed when the vampire and grim reaper visited her. They didn't eve
I can't help but feel bad about Angel. He sacrificed himself just to save me. But it's all for nothing because I'm not on the other side anymore. Gregory told me how the rogue angels got to them. I feel guilty about it but I'm also furious. It made me want to seek revenge."Honey, stop thinking about it now. What's important is we're both alive." Gregory told me."I just can't help but to feel bad about it. If only the portal is still open, it will be safer to get there!" I replied to him.The portal must be open once again or maybe another one must be created. Why didn't I think of that? But I don't think I can create a portal. I'm a vampire but maybe another being can do it. But who could it be? Then I saw the nunos having a meeting.
Marius seems to enjoy his time on the enchanted mountain. The small people seem to also like his company. They always hang out while Earl teaches me how to control my abilities. It's not easy because I don't know what they are and how to use them.I didn't know that aside from seeing other creatures and going to the other side, I can also fight. Marius got his flames from me and I never even imagined that I can ignite anything using my mind. I have pyrokinesis which I only discovered during my stay here.Earl also convinced me to try jumping off a cliff. He told me that I'm an immortal anyway. I can't die because of gravity anymore. So, I tried it and I never thought that I could fall and stand on both feet afterward. Everything feels new to me since my vampire training was paused.
"Mary is that you?" One of the Nuno asks the moment we step near the vicinity."Yeah, it's me! Good to see you, Earl!" I excitedly greeted him."Wow, you didn't even age a bit! Being a vampire has its perks." Earl told me."It has only been a year since I visited you here with my husband." I giggled."The last time I saw you with the count was fifteen years ago," Earl informed me.I can't believe it! That's why my son is all grown up now. We have been inside the other side for just a few hours. Fifteen years had passed since then. Does it mean that the werewolves forgot about Marius? I hope that's the case but it seems like we
My grown son and I reached the foot of the mountains. I can't believe how tall he becomes in just a couple of days from the other side. It might be the effect of the place on a vampire child like him. But I have to stop feeling amazed by how he grew up so fast.I need to start finding the "Nuno sa punso" around here. Maybe they can help me save my child from the werewolf prophecy. It seems that we were able to reach our destination. I'm not sure if it's the same place. Gregory is the one who brought me here before."Mom, how much longer must we walk?" Marius is now complaining."Don't tell me you feel tired! Vampires don't feel that, Marius." I replied."Yes, vampires don't get tired but they
"Marius, take my hand! We have to get out of this place!" I screamed in panic. My son doesn't even seem to be bothered by the skeletons emerging from the lake. But I don't want to risk it. Even if we're immortal, we can still die if these creatures kill us. He did what I told him to do and I closed my eyes."Mom, what are you doing?" Marius asks in a worried tone."If I was able to bring you here, I can also get you out!" I told him and tried to concentrate.I'm not sure if this would work but I was able to get to the other side without the portal. I don't know why but I suddenly think about the Nuno sa punso. They are my friends and the last time I saw them was when Gregory took me to
"Marius, that's enough!" I called him to come closer to me.I can't let the shadowy creatures hurt my son. But where did they even come from? The ghost bride is shaking beside me now. I don't know what these creatures are trying to do. Marius walks casually towards me. He seems to just secure us before doing so."Don't worry, mother! They can't come through my flames."Marius said proudly."Thanks, sweetie! But what are these creatures?" I ask myself more than him." They are Jinns and they come to take over the other side!" The ghost bride now informed us about them."So, it means that they want this place and not u
