"Calm the fuck down and let the doctor do his job." My father reprimanded me, holding me by my elbow when I stood to head to the private infirmary room where Melody was.

"Are you kidding me?" I pulled my arm off his grip, turning to look at him.

"He has been there for close to half an hour!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands in the air.

"Which clearly means he's not done yet." He responded, his voice rising a notch.

"Exactly! He should have been done by now." I let my hands drop to my side, looking at my father as he shook his head.

"Do you want him to examine and find out what is wrong with Melody or not?" He asked, pinching his nose with his index finger and thumb. I was about to respond when the door opened and the main pack doctor stepped out. He had a file in his hand and some equipment, but I didn't have any idea what they were.
