Chapter 15

Takumi POV

I found myself opening my eyes and feeling kind of groggy. I guess I fell asleep.

“I was wondering when you'd wake up.”

I looked to my side and found Twilight sitting cross-legged next to me.

“How long was I out?” I asked.

“I don't know.” She shrugged “I only got here an hour ago.”

An hour? I was about to ask what she was doing the whole time until I noticed the book on her lap. Some things never change.

“Why didn't you wake me up?” I asked.

“Natsumi was sleeping peacefully, and it would've woken her up. Also, I'm in no hurry to be anywhere. I think she'll want to say goodbye to you, so I'll wait until she wakes up.”

She went back to reading and we pretty much sat in awkward silence. At least, for me it was. I'm not sure about her.
