“I thought I’d at least have to buy you dinner a few times before that ever happened,” He said.

“Funny, but no. I’m serious.”

“What brought it on?”

“It’s more of a contract marriage, under pack laws obviously. You don’t have a mate and your pack is probably pushing for you to have one, right?”

“Ok. I don’t have any interest in finding one myself so no issues from my side. I’m offering marriage as a form of truce and trade between our packs. The only catch is that I don’t want to sleep with you and we’re not going to share a living space. In other words, we’ll stay in our respective packs and live separate lives.
