The very next day, a knock comes at my door. I open it with a smile, thinking that it is Mr Cross. But my face falls after seeing that it is Ella.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"Just stopping by," she said.

"For what?"

I can see that she is lying, she must have heard about this somehow.

She peeks in behind me.

"Are you moving?"

I glance back at the boxes behind me.

"Yes, yes, I am. I guess you can move back here like you wanted, but you will be by yourself. Or that new friend of yours can move in as well. I'm sure you will like that."

"Where are you moving to?"

"It's none of your business, but since you must know. I'm getting married soon." I smile.

"Oh, that's great. I never knew you met someone."

I make a face. "Of course I did. Leo, we have been seeing each other all this time."

"Leo, as in Leo Cross?"

"Do you know a lot of Leos? But yes."
