Crandon's POV

As we pulled up to my parents' house, I couldn't help but smile. It had become a ritual at this point. Most Sundays and Wednesdays, we'd all gather here for dinner. Lately, we'd been skipping Wednesdays because work had been absolutely insane.

Between Tempest and me trying to handle this restaurant lawsuit, which was quickly becoming as complicated as the Universal Airlines case, we barely had time to breathe.

Crandon's POVAs we pulled up to my parents' house, I couldn't help but smile. It had become a ritual at this point. Most Sundays and Wednesdays, we'd all gather here for dinner. Lately, we'd been skipping Wednesdays because work had been absolutely insane.Between Tempest and me trying to handle this restaurant lawsuit, which was quickly becoming as complicated as the Universal Airlines case, we barely had time to breathe.Thankfully, the government hadn't come back around.I knew that whole investigation had been a witch hunt anyway. They weren't going to find a damn thing. We were good at crossing our T's and dotting our I's.I glanced over at Tempest and took her hand, bringing it to my lips."You ready?" I asked. She smiled."Yeah. I'm ready."I got out of the truck and hurried around to her side before she could open her own door. Pulling it open, I offered her my hand. She laughed as she stepped out."You're such a gentleman.""I try to be," I said with a grin. "I aim to please

  • The Price of Peace: Book 3 In The No More Regrets Series   Grown Up Talk

Explicit Scenes AheadCrandon's POVWell, it was already Sunday. The week had flown by, and honestly, it had been a decent one. We didn't have any drama. Not even from the Nutty Professor. No alarms had gone off. All my cameras had behaved themselves. Everything had been quiet. And since Tempest practically lived with me now, we'd finally had a long talk about her apartment. Her mother was gone. Her sister was gone. And she was still paying rent on an apartment she barely spent any time in.So yesterday, after I ordered us some Giordano's pizza, breadsticks, and drinks, I sat her down.Mostly because every time we were alone together, we somehow ended up naked with Tempest riding my dick.I'm not complaining, but this time, I wanted to talk first. We were sitting on the couch with our plates balanced on our laps when she looked at me with those beautiful brown eyes.I immediately shook my head. She frowned."What?""You gotta stop."She blinked innocently before licking a little red

  • The Price of Peace: Book 3 In The No More Regrets Series   Too Many Weirdos

Shane's POV As I looked over at SJ, I could see the smart-ass comments brewing before they even came out of his mouth. The look on his face said it all. I told Maya to excuse me for a minute and asked SJ to come with me. Maya immediately reached out and grabbed my arm, stopping me before I could leave. "Don't do anything," she said quietly. I shook my head and gave her a reassuring smile. "I'm not going to do anything to him. I'm just going to talk to him." SJ was already walking ahead of me by the time I caught up. We headed toward the restroom, and once we got inside, I made sure nobody else was in there before turning to face him. "Hey, SJ." He shoved his hands into his pockets and looked at the floor. "I already talked to you about Maya and what's going on between us," I said. "So tell me what's really bothering you. Why are you giving her so much attitude?" He sighed heavily. "Dad, it's just weird." I nodded. "Okay." "It really is," he continued. "It's weird seeing

  • The Price of Peace: Book 3 In The No More Regrets Series   Family Greetings

Maya's POVAs we pulled up to the restaurant, I let out a sigh and shook my head. That FaceTime call had been the funniest shit ever.Seeing all of those women crammed into one screen, smiling like they were being held hostage, had almost taken me out. Those poor women. I was so glad Carmen hadn't picked me to be a bridesmaid in this wedding. Not that I got off easy.I still had to paint this whole production.Thankfully, it wouldn't be too bad. I'd take a really good reference photo myself and paint from that. Carmen wanted the paintings completed before the wedding festivities were even over, which meant I'd be working fast.Good thing I had skills.I was going to do my best.Unbuckling my seatbelt, I looked over at Gabby."You ready for this, baby girl?"She grinned."I'm ready, Mommy."I smiled and climbed out of the car.Gabby immediately unbuckled herself from her car seat before I could even help her.I just shook my head."Miss Independent."Grabbing my purse, her mini backpac

Keisha's POVAs we went back into the dressing rooms and started changing back into our regular clothes while Carmen went to change into her third and final dress, I quickly got dressed and hurried over to Sienna's room."Girl, we gotta find out what's up with Tiffany. When you said that shit about her loving Maverick, isn't that too soon?"Sienna shrugged."Well, let me tell you. They've worked together for years."I looked at her skeptically."Tiffany is younger than us, so they couldn't have worked together that damn long."Sienna sighed."Well, I mean at least four years. Even when she was an intern, she was working there. Yeah, and Maverick had just started too. I mean, he's only a year older than Knox. So who knows? Those two have basically been running away from each other because they didn't wanna cause any conflict of interest. I don't know, but now they've gone on a whole weekend date, and now it's Friday, and she's texting like a mad woman. Maybe we should just see what hap

  • The Price of Peace: Book 3 In The No More Regrets Series   Wedding Preparations part 2

Keisha's POVAs we looked at the elder women, standing in their outfits, I had to admit they looked absolutely beautiful. The two-piece seafoam green suits were elegant, and I loved the variations Carmen had chosen. Her mother wore a flowing floor-length skirt, while her aunt's version stopped just below the knee. Even Grandma Mabel had a matching knee-length skirt. They looked classy, sophisticated, and expensive. One by one, they turned slowly as the photographer snapped pictures from every angle.Grandma Mabel, however, looked like she was one flash away from committing a felony.I leaned forward and called out quietly."You look fabulous, Grandma!"Her expression immediately softened."Thank you, baby."I smiled and shook my head.As the women continued posing, Carmen clapped her hands."Okay, ladies! Go get changed! We're moving on to Wedding Dress Number Three!"The elders disappeared behind the curtain while the seamstresses took their final measurements. When they returned a
