Chapter 12- The Date

Dohana's face flushed as she stood there and watched the phone ring. She was overwhelmed by emotions of exhilaration and nervousness simultaneously.

"Dohana, come on, answer it!" Mariot urged. 

Daisy frowned as she stepped closer and read the caller ID. "Answer the phone before your prince charming drops at the other end."

After taking a deep breath, Dohana reached out and picked up the call.

"Hello," said Jake after noticing the silence from the other end. "Dohana, is that you?"

"Jake, hi," Dohana managed to say.
