Chapter 118- The End

The bullet flew through the air. While Aishantha looked on at the gun quivering helplessly, a diving figure leaped across her and fell to the ground.

Everyone's head was buzzing, did the Queen Mother really pull the trigger?

Aishantha subconsciously probed her body for gunshot wounds. And when she found none, she instantly glanced at the figure lying on the floor. Her mind was boggled.

It was Jake. Blood was stained all over his suit and his white t-shirt was red.

"No, Jake!" Princess Dohana cried, dropping to her knees and puzzled, not knowing how to help Jake at all. "Why did you do that, why?"

With his eyes closed as if he was dead, Jake didn't respond.

Everyone else stood there, stunned.
