Chapter 14- Meet The Parents
"Dad, Mum, what are you talking about?" Jake asked, he had impulsively stood up as he stared at them.
A young lady rushed towards Jake while tapping her phone and showed the screen to Jake.
Frowning, Jake shuddered as he stared at the screen. Beautiful and clear pictures of Jake and Dohana at the table having drinks, at the dance floor, while they running up the stairs to the top deck of the yacht, then a picture of them half naked swimming at the pool and drinking alcohol. Lastly, there were pictures of them cuddling and kissing by the pool side.
"What? How?" Jake was baffled. He glanced back at his father, who was seething with rage.

Dohana laid on her bed face first, tears strolled down her cheeks. Jake had openly rejected her. Her prince charming had rejected her infront of his parents. Dohana was completely devastated. She asked herself so many questions.'Where did it all go wrong? I thought Jake and I were getting along fine, so how did he suddenly hate me? Wasn't he supposed to love me forever? "Wooo!" The guys felt the threat. Then Dohana walked over to their VIP table and took a glass full of wine and came back to face Jake. "So, Jake, since you've chosen to dance. I hope you ready to play," she said as she poured the glass of wine all over Jake's head while she smirked. "What?" "How dare she?" The excitement on Mariot and Daisy's heart was overwhelming. They had never witnessed their friend acting so daring and brave. This was Jake Larson. Jake's friends were stunned to the core, they watched on with awe. No girl had ever dared to stand up to Jake. A handsome man hurriedly entered the Blue Sky Marketing building. He was wearing only the most expensive branded suit, Gucci and Cubana t-shirt and custom made black professional shoes. The man kept glancing at his watch, he was late. 'Damnit, I was supposed to be at work an hour earlier so I could go through the notes and be able to prepare for the presentation. Now my head is buzzing from this damn hang-over.' Rushing into his office, the man switched on his laptop and was stunned. He made a quick call and shouted the moment his PA answered the phone. "Secretary, where's the file I requested my assistant manager to compile?" Jake said. "Sir," his PA answered, "I tried to call you last night and even sent you an SMS. The assistant manager has resigned."

Jake was perplexed, he remembered the scene where he told Dohana that he didn't believe in that song anymore. He remembered how intimate that moment was with her.
