Confrontation

REGINA DRILLS

"Mr. Jones" Detective walked over to him as I watched by the side while trying to eavesdrop on them but unexpectedly I could not hear a word.

My Hearing has always been good but I just couldn't hear what they talked about. I frowned slightly as I tried reading their lips but then they suddenly stopped their discussion.

I could only watch the handsome and Strange man leave with his nephew.

"What are you looking at " Tony whispered info my ear as I took a step away from him

"Keep your distance!" I warned

"Sorry about that" He coughed awkwardly

"A murder happened in your class?" Tony asked as I nodded

"Please tell me you did not implicate yourself again." He looked at me with pleading eye

"Not really, they just won't believe me" I shrugged as the annoying detective walked up to us

"Attorney Tony I didn't expect you to come"

"My Client called" Tony who had to take several duties and identities to be able to serve me replied in a professional manner

Detective Liam looked at me coldly as I returned the stare

"Miss Drills turned out to be your client"

"Then I will take my client home First." Tony said as Lieutenant Liam shook his head

"It's complicated and Miss. Drills can't leave." He refused

"Why?, you just let him leave with his nephew." Tony raised his eyebrows referring to those that left

"Miss Drills situation is different, she sat at window where the bullet flew in from."

"So are you saying she knew but decided not to help her classmates" Tony felt annoyed

"It hasn't been confirmed yet, that's why we have to interrogate her first to find out" Liam stood his stance

"Do me a favor" Tony stretched out his middie finger and motioned

"Fine, I will just take her to the police station and interrogate her there" Liam said

"Can you not question her at all?" Tony looked at him although pleading it felt like pressuring

"Are you done talking with them? can I go now?" I asked annoyed

"Not yet we will have to go to the station first for your questioning " Tony said not daring to look at me directly as I stared at him indifferently

"I don't want."

"Miss Drills you don't have a say here." Liam looked at me intimidatingly

I took a deep breath annoyed

"Only two questions are allowed" I negotiated as Liam shook his head refusing

"I'm just notifying you, I don't need your opinion"

"3 questions" Liam suggested as I gave Tony a look

"detective Liam, I think only two questions are allowed" Tony frowned at his unrelenting attitude

"I'm the detective here I should make the choice" He refused to compromise

"Being a detective is not an achievement." I said poisonously

"I don't think there's a reason for this argument let's just go to the station and start the questioning since it's not far from the school" One of his colleagues suggested

I gave them a careless look I walked at first and got into the police van.

Liam opened the back door to seat with me but I stopped him right on time

"I have allergy and I like being alone" I said lightly as he glanced at me as if doubting me but still closed the door and sat in the passenger's seat in front with his colleague driving

Getting to the station I and Lieutenant Liam sat down opposite each other staring at ourselves without saying a word without saying a word. While Detective Nelly and Tony seemed to be outside the office watching us

"I will start" Liam coughed as he brought out the recorder

"What happened before the murder?"

"Nothing" I shrugged shoulder

"Your teacher said the gun was shot during the final greeting so why were you unaffected"

"i was sitting"

"What about your friend Ella" He asked as I paused and looked at him

"I don't have a friend

"Is Miss Drills playing word game with us"

"Not interested."

"Good, then I hope that Miss Drills answer my truthfully" Liam returned to his questions

"You have exhausted your questions" I reminded him

"Did you know that something like that was going to happen" He asked another question ignoring my words as the office gradually became silent

"Are all Detective as stupid as you are?"

"Miss Drills answer the question!"

"I don't want to" I frowned annoyed

"Miss Drills!"

"Don't you think you are holding the wrong person captive, I'm just a poor little student. The time you spent on me you could have found a clue about the murderer" I rolled my eyes angrily

"But you can be detained for aiding murder"

"You've asked more than you are supposed to and about detaining me I don't think you can make that decision" My soft but cold voice sounded

"What do you mean" Liam looked at me suspiciously but I ignored him and picked a grape from the table and took a bite

Tony couldn't help but hold his breath, he knew that the moment Regina is about to explode she is automatically silent

"Lieutenant Liam I think the questioning should end here" Tony suddenly walked in to avoid more mistakes

"But Miss Regina doesn't want to cooperate with us"

"She is just a young girl do you have to go this far" Tony's voice became gradually became cold

"Do you want to grapes, it's pretty tasteful" I said passing the plate to Tony who didn't touch it

"Miss Regina Drills should please cooperate with us"

"I don't want to" I replied simply

"Do you have to do this" He hit the table angrily

"Do you think you can detain me without my consent" She looked at him coldly

"Miss Regina!!"

"Shut up I'm feeling sleepy." I bent my head without saying more words but I just couldn't sleep.

Not long after I forced myself to ignore his series of question his colleague who drove us for the station entered the room

I placed my chin on my palm while looking at them whispering

"The Higher-ups ordered that you should let her go

"Why and when was this decision made?" Detective Liam asked while he looked like he was controlling his anger.

"The order just came and for the reason... There is none"

Detective Liam turned to look at me as I faced him with a smug smile.

I looked at Tony coldly after we left the police station

"Why didn't you call him ever since?" I asked

"I thought I would settle it easily" Tony took a step back to avoid her anger

"Forget it, it's just a few incompetent detective who don't know how to do their work" I sneered and walked to the car.

Tony drove back to the Villa as I looked at the window in a daze but then I noticed some little movement

"Stop here." I ordered as Tony turned to look at me

"Miss"

"Stop here, there seem to be something at the flower bed" I spoke as Tony stopped the car immediately while I got down.

I walked over slowly as I walked towards the flower bed

"Miss be careful" Tony reminded

I walked closer as the feeling in my heart became stronger it was the familiar feeling I felt this afternoon.

The closer I walked the stronger it became. I looked directly as a saw the white thing which lay there in blood.

And as if noticing my sight, it turned and looked at me sharply and his eyes filled with Killing intent!!.
