CHAPTER SEVEN

Scarlett’s POV

I stood there, awestruck by the sight before me. The buildings were made of stone and looked as though they had been standing for centuries. The intricate carvings on the walls and pillars were unlike anything I had ever seen. Some of the buildings had thatched roofs while others were made of wooden planks. It was like I had been transported back in time to a world that I had only read about in books.

The people walking around were dressed in clothing that looked ancient and foreign to me. Some wore long flowing robes while others wore tunics and breeches. The women had their hair tied up in braids and wore jewelry made of bone and beads. The men carried swords and shields, ready for battle at any moment. I couldn't help but feel like an outsider in this world, like I didn't belong.

As I looked around, taking in the sights and sounds of this strange place, my eyes fell upon an inscription on the gatepost. It read "Crimson Pack" in bold letters. My heart began to race
