Ethan’s POV

Ethan stormed away from Scarlett, his mind a whirlwind of anger and frustration. Her words had struck a nerve, cutting through his defenses and stirring up a storm of emotions he hadn't anticipated. How could she accuse him of being manipulated? How could she question his judgment and loyalty?

His fists clenched at his sides as he marched back to his tent, his footsteps heavy with the weight of his indignation. He could still hear her voice echoing in his mind, the disbelief evident in her tone. It was as if she had cast doubt on everything he believed in, everything he had worked so hard to achieve.

Entering the tent, Ethan slammed the flap shut behind him, the sound reverberating through the canvas walls. He paced back and forth, his thoughts a jumbled mess.
