Chapter 164.

Tori's POV

There wasn't a single drop of blood in my hands, I didn't even need to raise my hand, but I ended up killing someone.

This wasn't my first time of taking a life, but this was different.

My former victims were rogues, terrible people that would have killed more people if I hadn't taken care of them, but THIS was different.

This was an innocent servant. I killed one of Adrian's servants, even though I knew how much he protected and was kind to them.

Chapter 164. Tori's POV There wasn't a single drop of blood in my hands, I didn't even need to raise my hand, but I ended up killing someone. This wasn't my first time of taking a life, but this was different. My former victims were rogues, terrible people that would have killed more people if I hadn't taken care of them, but THIS was different. This was an innocent servant. I killed one of Adrian's servants, even though I knew how much he protected and was kind to them. It all started while I was having one of my deep and endless sleep. I heard Kylian crying, and my heart jumped because he never cried. His voice in distress gave strength to my limbs, and I immediately looked out of the window. One of the servants, Joey, was pulling something from Kylian's hands, and Kylian wasn't ready to let go. "You must let go immediately, Kylian. You are definitely not taking those flowers into the house for Miss Tori!" "But Tori is sad and I need to make her feel

Chapter 163. Alpha Adrian's POV I jumped right into work and after a long day in a closed door meeting with a few of my partners, I went back to my room to catch my breath over a cup of coffee. I used that opportunity to grab my phone and put a call through to the servants. I needed to check on Tori every now and then. The first time that I came back to work, I was so worried about her that I put a call through to her, but she never picked up. With my heart racing with fear, I drove home only to find out that she was sleeping. I was relieved, but I wasn't sure about that now. "Hello? Has Tori had breakfast yet?" I asked the head servant of my mansion. "Sorry, Alpha, but Miss Blackwood has sent the servants away. She said that she was still sleeping." That was the same answer I got everyday that I went to check up on her. "Did you tell her that I've instructed her to eat, no matter how little?" I pressed. "She said that you would understand if she wants

  • The Rejected Luna Strikes Back    Wait!

Chapter 162. Tori's POV "Wait!" I grabbed my sleeping son from Gina and held him tightly to my chest. The pack members beer gathered around, watching me with pity as I cried bitterly. I didn't leave my baby, but I didn't have a choice. Larissa's hand reached out to rub my back, an act to comfort me, but it ended up making me to cry even harder. Adrian sighed before coming to me. His hand gently wiping my tears. "Tori, we need to go." He gently took Arthur from my hand gave him back to Gina. I would have concluded that he was being wicked bad heartless, but wasn't he the one that was trying to convince me that I was crazy for trying to leave Arthur in the first place? I fell against his chest and cried bitterly. Helen was here too. Her kind eyes were comforting me. "Wipe your tears, child. He is going to be fine." She assured me. Adrian didn't let me go, instead he put me into the car and drove away. He knew that if he spent even an extra minute

Chapter 161. Adrian's POV "Are you crazy?" That was the first thing I asked her as soon as she broke the news to me. No, she was not crazy. She was very composed and of sound mind as she sat on the bed and held my hand. "I'm not going to allow you to do that, Tori. Surely you don't think leaving Arthur here is a wise thing to you. Why would you want something like that?" "Baby, it's not what I want, it's what the moon goddess wants." She reached to touch my face. I had always accepted the moon goddess as sovereign, even though I wasn't the religious type, but I was going to draw the line at this. I ended to protect Arthur too, and I didn't mind what kind of curse this might attract on me. "Please, Adrian," she held my hand even tighter. "Please, don't even think of sneaking him out." It's like she could read my mind. "Well, that's looking like a very good idea to me, Tori. Why shouldn't I do that?" "Because it will attract curses on both us and Arthu

Chapter 160. Tori's POV My heart slowed down and I reached to lean against a wall because I felt as if I was going to fall. Helen helped gently ease me to the ground, so that I could sit. "Easy, child," her gently voice whispered to me. "My son, Arthur is supposed to be the Alpha? But he is just a little baby." "The youngest Alpha I have ever seen, but he is also the most special. How many Alphas have you been handpicked by the moon goddess?" My chest tightened as if I was getting an asthma attack. Arthur was the most precious thing that life had even to me. I was kicked out of Alex's house, after many years, but Arthur was the one thing that I did right. "I can't stay here." I shook my head. "I know." She smiled sadly. "Are you suggesting that Ieave my son here?" "That's the only way, Tori, for him to grow with his people." Helen explained. "From what I saw in my visions, you don't want to take him back to the city." "Why?" "Because reje

Chapter 159. Tori's POV If Larissa could take you from her seat and hold me by the throat, she would have done than. "What are you doing, Tori, this is not the plan!" I ignored her and continued to speak to the rest of the pack members. They all looked like they hated what I wanted to do, but none would dare open the mouth to speak against me.... "Sarah is no longer Luna dowager.... And she is no longer a member of this pack." I declared. The murmur grew at this point. No one saw the banishment coming at all. Larissa was holding on to the handles of her wheelchair, as if she could force herself to get up. "This is not the plan, Tori! You promised me that you weren't going to hurt her." "This is me not hurting your mother, dear sister. After everything she put my mother through, trust me, I'm being pretty tame here." "She made one fucking mistake!" Larissa yelled out. "One mistake, and you can't just let it go! Can't you see that you are becoming just
