Gnawing Doubt

- Princess Helena's POV -

It was already three in the afternoon when we arrived at the Rigorou Mountain Pack.

My body was aching a bit from sitting for more than twelve hours. Now I wished I had taken my own horse on the way here. I was completely bored during the entire travel, not to mention the royal guard who was with me.

We had traveled for almost half of the day. I ordered Neong to take the route that would lead us to the back of the Rigorou Mountain. I did not want to have a grand entrance. I wanted them to get curious first, and everything would follow after that.

"Welcome to our pack, Princess Helena!" It was a male voice.

I was still sitting inside the chariot when those words welcomed me.

Good thing I was covered with a roof. I chose the chariot with a cover to avoid any interaction during my travel.
