FAZER LOGINHe never loved me. Not the way he loved his first love. To him, I was nothing more than a Luna who was far too obsessed with her position. A woman with no background. No worth. But was he really that foolish that he failed to realize that the woman who had stood by his side all this time was me, his Luna? To him, neglecting someone who had nothing to offer was never a problem. Until I finally walked out of his life, just as he had always wanted. Now that I’m finally gone, why are you the one making all the noise, husband? Wasn’t I never anything special to you? An Alpha could never regret losing a woman he never loved. … Could he?

“Did you hear what I just said?” His tone was cold, and he spoke without the slightest concern for what had just happened to me.
“If you still want to be my wife, you must give one of your kidneys to Eve.”
I pressed a hand against the wound on my arm, which I had just sustained when he shoved me into a glass cabinet, shattering it and leaving shards of glass embedded in my left arm.
“An Omega like you, with no family or tribe, wouldn’t survive out there.”
My heart felt as though it had been crushed in a tight fist. His words were always so cold.
When I was two years old, I had been found by Kael’s father, Alpha Bryan. The Ashbourne family had taken me in, raised me, and made me one of their own.
I was known as a lucky Omega for having risen to the position of Luna, though, of course, others still looked down on me.
This was far from the first time Kael had treated me so coldly. The only person he had ever cared about was his first love, Eve, who had finally returned after a year of our marriage.
I coughed, but his gaze remained filled with contempt.
Kael thought I was lying to him just to avoid giving one of my kidneys to Eve, a former Beta's daughter who was now gravely ill.
When Eve returned, everyone in the Silver Horizon Pack began talking about how the Alpha's first love had finally come back and how a useless Luna like me would soon be replaced.
I saw countless news articles about their relationship, including one about how Kael had knelt before Eve to put on her heels.
He absolutely hated doing that. But in that moment, I realized he would only do such a thing for the woman he loved.
Not me, but Eve.
Every news article that circulated only showed how deeply he loved her. While they spent time together, I spent my own time thinking about how I could leave this place as soon as possible.
“Noira, promise me you'll give her one of your kidneys. She's... Eve is so fragile. She's not like you.”
This wasn't a request. He was making sure I understood that I had no choice but to do it.
Outside this room, the guards were already waiting to lock me up and ensure I gave one of my kidneys to the woman he loved.
Looking at him, I remembered the days when I had admired Kael so deeply, believing he would become an extraordinary and wise Alpha.
I loved him. I fell in love with him over and over again, but Kael had been forced to marry me when the marks appeared on both our bodies, revealing that we were mates.
In the werewolf world, when the full moon coincided with one's twentieth birthday, an identical mark would appear on the bodies of one's destined mate. It was a sign that the Moon Goddess had blessed the two of them.
Besides, after the marks appeared, Alpha Bryan had ordered us to marry immediately. He cared for me deeply, making our marriage unavoidable.
One day after our wedding, Eve disappeared. Everyone said she couldn't bear the overwhelming heartbreak.
Kael then went mad with grief, constantly blaming me for what had happened. After that, his treatment of me only grew worse, and throughout our year of marriage, loving him had become the biggest mistake of my life.
Now that Alpha Bryan was dead, Kael made it painfully clear that Eve was the only woman he had ever loved.
That incident had happened four years ago. I remembered it so clearly because he had been gravely injured during the great war that was raging at the time. But Kael refused to believe me, insisting that everything I had told him was a lie.
Standing before him, I wanted to tell him one more time.
“Kael, if I give her one of my kidneys, I will die.”
His expression hardened. “Stop lying, Noira. You can still live with one kidney left.”
He gripped my arm so tightly that I had no strength to fight back. I struggled against his hold until my breathing grew heavy.
“Kael…”
Before I could say another word, he slapped me.
It hurt, but my anger and disappointment were far greater than the physical pain.
As I stared at him, it felt as though thousands of needles were stabbing into my heart all at once. This was the first time he had ever slapped me, and after this, he would truly end up killing me.
“Stop throwing tantrums. I'm not going to divorce you. You'll remain the Luna of the Silver Fangs Pack, but don't you dare interfere with Eve.”
“You are the Luna. You are responsible for the members of this pack.”
My head was spinning as his cruel words continued to strike me, one after another.
I had to act now, before the situation grew even worse.
My heavy lips finally parted, and I spoke slowly.
“Fine... I'll do it. But not until seven days from now.”
Kael's eyes slowly blinked, and his brows furrowed. I knew he probably wouldn't remember it.
“That is our wedding anniversary. I want to do it as our wedding anniversary gift, Kael.”
For some reason, his expression shifted slightly. It seemed as though he wanted to say something, but at that moment, his phone rang.
When he answered the call, I could hear Eve's voice coming from the other end.
“I'll be right there, Eve. Don't be afraid.”
He spoke with deep concern.
In silence, I watched how quickly he acted whenever it came to Eve.
Just as he was about to leave the room, he stopped and looked back at me.
“Don't forget your promise, Noira. You must give her one of your kidneys.”
I nodded slowly, letting him believe that he had won.
After that, perhaps he would finally be able to live happily with Eve, just the two of them.
But our conversation wasn't over yet. He fell silent for a moment before looking at me again.
“I'll give you the ring you've been asking for afterward.”
With that, he left in hurried strides, while my tears continued to stream down my face.
He had shattered my heart over and over again. He had even taken away something that rightfully belonged to me.
The ring Kael had was the only thing I owned that had belonged to my mother. I had always treasured it and kept it safe.
But now, I truly no longer cared about that ring. Everything had already been over for a month.
My hands trembled as I picked up my phone, and the person on the other end answered almost immediately.
“Have you made your decision?”
I nodded slowly. “I want to give him one last gift.”
NoiraOver the past four years I had spent in the Stormfang Pack, I had made tremendous progress.Things I once thought I would never be able to do had turned out to be things I could accomplish quite well.I knew I owed much of that to my family's support. Even when I failed at something, they never stopped encouraging me and offering their help.I was incredibly grateful to have them as my family. They were the kind of family who had never forgotten me, even after I disappeared.Sometimes, Mom would sleep in my bed because she wanted to spend more time with me.She often told me that so much time had been lost between us. She hadn't been there to watch me grow. She hadn't been able to see me become a teenager, then a grown woman, or witness me getting married. Her eyes gazed at me tenderly. As she held my hand, I could feel just how much she loved me."It's such a shame that Mom couldn't be there to see your wedding day. To see you wearing your wedding dress."I took a moment to dra
NoiraA soft puff of breath escaped my lips as I exhaled. The air around me was cold, while people bustled about, busy with their respective tasks. From the veranda, I watched them working diligently. The warriors were moving various pieces of equipment, while some of the others were busy training.Suddenly, someone draped an arm around my shoulders.“Noira, aren't you hungry yet? It's already lunchtime.”I turned my head and saw Gabriel, my brother, smiling at me.“Yes, I'm getting hungry too.”I followed Gabriel toward the dining hall, where our parents were already waiting for us. They welcomed us with warm smiles.“Mom, Dad, I'm sorry for keeping you waiting.”I sat down in the chair Gabriel had pulled out for me.My parents shook their heads.“Not at all.”They were all my biological family. They had spent years searching for me ever since I disappeared at the age of two, never giving up until they finally managed to find me.My family belonged to the Stormfang Pack, one of the l
KaelI kept my gaze fixed on Eve. Because of Noira's emotional outburst, she had only made the already frail Eve even weaker.Seeing her lying in bed with an IV drip attached to her hand filled me with an overwhelming sense of guilt.“Kael…”Her voice was weak as she called my name. I approached her and immediately took her hand in mine. Her hand was so thin and frail. Even keeping her eyes focused on me seemed difficult. Yet, this kind-hearted woman was still trying to smile.“Please don't be angry with Noira…”I stared at her in surprise, my expression hardening.“Don't waste your thoughts on that woman. She really has no sense of gratitude. After everything my family has done for her, she still dares to behave like that.”I let out a slow breath as I looked back at Eve, who weakly shook her head.I held her hand firmly but gently.“You should get some rest. I'll take care of Noira. She's just throwing a tantrum, and once she's calmed down, I'll punish her so she understands the con
NoiraEve clearly had no intention of letting me off so easily. The words that came out of her mouth often brought nothing but trouble for me. With her clingy attitude and constant dependence on Kael, everyone always seemed to believe her every move.“I never spread any rumors about you.”Refusing to accept her accusations, I answered firmly and clearly. She fell silent, then a second later, leaned against Kael.“Noira, I know why you're angry with me. I... I never meant to take Kael's attention away from you.”Her voice was weak, and she made herself sound so innocent. With tears streaming down her cheeks, she looked genuinely hurt. Before I could respond, she continued.“But this is too much... Spreading rumors that I was trying to steal him from you...”“I never did that, Noira.”My heart burned with anger toward her. She threw out accusations so effortlessly, and Kael simply believed her, wrapping his arms around her seemingly fragile body.“Don't you feel guilty, Noira? Eve has a
