Chapter 25

Rosalie looked at the dinner she had prepared for her children.

She had made Duncan’s favorite food when he was alive, pasta.

She sighed, looking at the table, setting the dishes for that dinner that had not even begun, but already felt so melacolic.

Rosalie sighed as she looked at the place Duncan used to sit.

She was still setting the table, when Angelika went downstairs and entered the dining room, the girl looked at her and gave her a sad smile.

Today would be Duncan’s birthday, and it hurt not only Rosalie’s heart, but all of her children.

She made her way to Angelika who lit the candles now, and touched her shoulder.

"How are you doing?"

Angelika sighed and replied:

" Missing."

She hugged her tight, and when she let go, she asked:

" Where is your brother?"

Angelika returned to light the candles, and Rosalie realized that her attitude was to look away.

Without facing her, the girl replied:

" He’s locked in his room, and I don’t think he’s coming down."
