Eliane POV

An annoying sound infiltrated my perfectly peaceful sleep. You know the sensation of floating in a very comfortable position in your sleep and then the sound of the alarm ruining the mood. I sat up blinking while searching for my phone to turn off the alarm.

When my hands didn't find it on the nightstand or under my pillow, I looked around the room until I found my bag on the desk. I stood up and dragged my feet toward the bag, It didn't take long to find the phone. I grabbed it and walked to the bathroom.

While I was done doing my business, I tried to unlock the phone but the screen remained black. It took me a couple of seconds to remember that I had turned it off yesterday. Little by little, yesterday's events came back to me clearing my drowsy head.
