Chapter Fifty-Four - New friendship is made -

After we took care of the bodies and helped the rest of those who needed help inside the gates. I went to speak to Derrick and Margaret and hopefully Ricky too. Something isn’t sitting right with me when it comes to Loclyn and I know it’s not because of Savannah as she asked to be called from now on.

I knocked on the front door to Derrick and Margaret's house and waited for an answer. Shortly after knocking again Derrick came to the door and let me in. Margaret made me a cup of coffee much to her disliking. Savannah said she didn’t like coffee.

“What can we do for you Jax?” Margaret asks

“I was hoping you could tell me about Loclyn” I say.

“What exactly were you hoping we’d be able to tell you other than he is a sweet boy and very loving?” Margaret says.
