Aaro's pov
The flight didn’t take long, thank the fucking goddess, because it meant that I wasn’t far from the school, right? Alpha Dickface got off the plane first, with Eve behind him. She smiled at me, but her eyes looked sad. Then Storm walked past me as if I weren’t even there. Fucker. If he had just found a Luna on his own, I wouldn’t be in this fucking mess. I would be at school, escaping with Ero. I almost started crying again, but the guard pulled me up out of the chair and started growling at me and pulling me towards the exit. I could fucking walk, he just needed to ask. I took one step out of the plane, and I had to catch my breath because it was fucking freezing. I was only wearing the ugly school dress, and the wind went right through it. There was even snow. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this much snow. It had snowed one winter, but that was like that weird ass wet snow that doesn’t even stay on the ground. But this, this was actual, thick snow, and I wondered what it would feel like. I took a step, and the snow crunched beneath my feet. Ero would have thought this was so cool. The only thing that mattered right now was getting through this so I could return to her. It didn’t matter what I had to do; I would fucking kill for her. "Walk." The soldiers pushed me forward, and I didn’t even notice I had stopped to touch the snow. I walked to a large car and sat in the back. It was a really long car, with a sofa inside. Is this some rich people car? I don’t remember my mom and dad having a car like this, and they were the Alpha and Luna. "Are you cold?" Eve asked. I shook my head, but I was fucking freezing. Eve handed me a blanket, and I quickly spread it over my body. Fuck, that was better. "I’m Evelien Westhuizen." She said, "but you can call me Eve." I nodded my head, "Hello, Eve." The school taught us a lot of things about being a proper Luna. How to speak like a proper young lady: always cross your legs and make eye contact, but only briefly. Don’t speak unless spoken to, always use two words, and don’t fucking swear. I think they added the last rule for me. Those weren’t all the rules, goddess; it would take a whole fucking book to tell you all the rules. "What is your name?" Eve asked. "Enough with the introductions. Her name is Aaro, and we will have to change that soon enough. Luna Aaro, can you imagine?" Alpha Lex said. I bend my head down. It’s fucking Alpha Aeryn. I wondered if he could imagine that?! I needed to get through this alive. I wanted to say so fucking much, but I needed them to believe I was weak and shy and when they thought I was obedient, I would fuck them all up. I just needed to wait long enough for an opportunity to escape. We drove for a while and I stared out the window, looking at the scenery. It was beautiful. The only fucking thing you could see at the school were trees. And the massive ass gate that encircles the entire school grounds. I had climbed the gate, dug underneath the gate, and cut the gate open, but every fucking time they caught us. This time my plan was to sneak into the van that dropped off the groceries. We had our own vegetable garden, but some things needed to be shipped from elsewhere. Goddess knows where. But now the entire plan has gone down the fucking drain. The car stopped for a minute before we entered through a large stone gate. So this was their pack. It looked very big. There are lots of houses, flats, and stores. This pack was huge. "Aaro? We’re here." Eve said, and I turned around to see Storm staring at me. When he noticed I saw him, he quickly looked away.We stepped out, and I saw I had traded one prison for another. The packhouse was large and looked like a fucking castle. It was surrounded by a large garden and a very high gate. Why would they build a gate around the packhouse? Wasn’t the packhouse supposed to be used by the packmembers as well? Or did they have a separate packhouse, and was this just their house? Who was the gate for? Were they worried their own pack would break in? Once again, I was pulled out of the car, and the blanket fell on the floor before I could catch it. Goddess, it was hard to keep myself from growling at the stupid fucking soldier. I followed Eve, Storm, and Alpha Lex into the castle. The only fucking thing it needed was a moat and a drawbridge. Inside, the place looked modern, which surprised me. I expected it to look like something from the Middle Ages, with large candles hanging from the ceiling and carpets on the walls. There was a lot of black and white. There are screens everywhere. I didn’t really like it. It felt cold, but what else would I have expected from Alpha Lex. He was fucking cold. "Lunch is ready in thirty minutes." An omega woman said, walking into the hallway. "Show her to her room," Alpha Lex ordered the fucking soldier, but Eve offered to take me instead. "You can both go. Get her something to wear that doesn’t look like that." Alpha Lex said, looking disgusted. We walked up some very large stairs and then another set of stairs until we reached the top floor. "You’ll be staying here. Storm is a door down. I am on the other side of the building." Eve said. She opened the door and let me in, following me inside. The soldier closed the door, and I could still smell him, so he probably got in front of the door. I looked around to see where I could escape. The windows didn’t seem to be barred, so maybe I could jump from there. "There are cameras everywhere; Aaro and the garden have motion detection sensors. At night, drones fly over the garden to keep people out or in. It might look pretty, but it’s a prison." Eve said. What the hell are drones and motion sensors? She sat down on the bed and sighed, "I’m sorry, Aaro. I came here by choice; I can’t imagine how hard this must be for you." "Thank you, Eve." I said, not willing to share my feeling with someone I just fucking met. "Storm isn’t like his father, you know. He’s a good guy." "Okay, Eve." I replied. What the fuck did she want from me? She stood up, "well, let’s get you some clothes. This is our guest room, so there are usually some extra clothes in the closet for every event." That’s fucking posh. Clothes for their guests? How do they even know their sizes? "You’re a bit taller than most women, but I think this would work?" She said this while holding up a form-fitting dress. There is no way that would fucking work. It looked way too fucking small. "You can get dressed in there." Eve said, pointing to a door. I stepped inside, and it was one of the largest fucking bathrooms I had seen since I was taken by that fucker doctor Marco. Mom and dad used to have a large bathroom too, but not as modern as this one. I was glad I was only getting dressed because I had no fucking clue how to use anything in this bathroom. Even the toilet had a screen where you could press buttons. Why? You only need one fucking button to flush, and that’s it. I took my school outfit off and was just standing in my ugly underwear. We all wore the same white tops and big-ass underwear. There is no way that would look good under this dress. I noticed Eve had placed some underwear on top of the dress, but it was like a small piece of fabric with a bunch of strings. How the fuck would that even fit? Where were the strings supposed to go? After trying it three different ways, I thought I finally got it. Fabric in the front and strings everywhere else. It wasn’t really comfortable, and I almost missed those large ass panties I was used to. Why did there need to be a string between my ass cheeks?! I put the dress on and immediately realized I needed to not wear the top because it was sticking out near my armpits and boobs. It looked ridiculous. The dress was tight enough anyway, so they wouldn’t be bouncing around in there. I finally got the dress on. It was a dark blue dress and had long sleeves that were see-through, a square neckline, and it came just above my knee. It felt weird showing off my legs when I had been told not to for years.Aaro’s pov"Ready?" Eve asked.I opened the door, and she gasped. "You look amazing, Aaro. Now we just need some shoes, and maybe you should do something with your hair. What if you wear it down?"Down? What did she mean, not in a fucking bun or braid? Was she fucking nuts?"Here let me," she said, before I could stop her. My hair was in a braid that I had rolled up into a bun, and she quickly got rid of the elastic that was holding everything in place. She ran her hands through my hair and looked at me again."Wow, at least my son has good taste."Should I say thank you? He looked at me fucking once, and his father bought me. I doubted he actually liked me; he ignored me the whole fucking time, and most importantly, it didn’t fucking matter anyway. I wasn’t planning on staying. She brought me some shoes that had heels, but Myrtle had let us practice walking in heels for when we were auctioned of. Apparently, fighting isn’t important for a future mate to learn, but walking in fucking
Storm’s povI didn’t want to buy a Luna. I had told my dad that numerous times."Well, if you had found one on your own, or even attempted to look, then you wouldn’t be in this mess." My wolf, Brand, said.Brand means fire in Dutch, and he is a bit of a hothead, so the name fits him. He claims he's agitated because I haven’t found my Luna yet to ground me, or whatever the fuck he thinks."Just shut the fuck up, you know I'm right." Brand growled.Dad didn’t tell me where we were going until I got on that plane. Both me and mam were pissed. She told me to show no interest in anyone, and hopefully, dad would just leave the whole thing alone. But of course, he didn't, and now I was stuck with some seventeen-year-old that I had looked at once."You like her." Brand said. "You might act like you don’t, but she is your type.""She is nothing like the girls I’ve dated." I countered."She’s strong, tall, beautiful, and a handful. Isn’t that exactly what you want in a mate?"It was. For years,
Aaro’s povThis fucking Storm was hot and then cold. He was fucking hot in the looks department too; he looked really good. But I meant that his behavior was odd. He was protective of me, but the rest of the time he seemed annoyed with me or just ignored me. Sometimes it felt like he wanted me to lash out, but I knew better than to speak my mind. I was pretty sure if I was punished here, they wouldn’t care about leaving a mark or not. I mean, they stuck a fucking thick needle in my wrist to track me. How the fuck did that work?I searched the whole damn closet for something to wear. Layers. Whatever the fuck that meant, because the only thing here were more dresses. I gave up and I went to the bathroom to wash my arm. I tried to push the shower on, but the whole thing went crazy. There was water coming out of different holes in the wall, and I didn’t know what the fuck was going on. By the end, I was soaked. I dried myself off as best as I could and tied my hair down; getting it wet w
Storm’s povWhat the fuck was Lisa doing here? As if shopping wasn't annoying enough, we ran into my ex? We were never that serious—well, I was never that serious. Lisa wanted more."Yeah, more power." Brand growled.Lisa only wanted the Luna title, and she would do anything to get it. We were both in that relationship for the wrong reasons, so when she tried to get too close to me, I broke things off. She wasn’t someone I wanted to spend my life with. And right now, she wasn’t someone I wanted to spend the next five minutes with.Warning Aaro about me was just a way to let Aaro know we dated. I didn’t fucking care what Lisa said until I heard a tiny growl escape Aaro’s lips. Was she jealous? Did she finally reveal something behind that fake smile?I couldn’t let it go and decided to see how far I could push Aaro before she growled again or said something that wasn’t polite and sweet.I didn’t expect her next words, though, and I pulled her back as she tried to leave.I looked at Lisa
Aaro’s pov. I am so fucking confused. I’ve known the guy for hours. Literally, just a few hours and he’s already shown a lot of different sides to himself. First he tries to humiliate me by flirting with Lisa in front of me. Then he suddenly tells her, "I’m his Luna." Sometimes he's kind, and then he treats me like shit. Did he feel bad because I was crying? Because I wasn’t crying about him. The word princess made me think about how dad treated mom, me, and Elora as princesses. For years I thought they would come and save us, but I had to give up that idea and be there for Elora. She was my sister, and I had to take care of her, because no one else would. But deep down, I still missed them. So fucking much. Dad and mom were the kind of parents you can only hope for, and I even missed Logan and Reina, especially Logan because he let me play with his fur. I prayed that they were still alive, but I knew my parents would try to find us, so something must have happened to them. Maybe t
Storm’s povWhy did she have to ruin the perfect moment? She must have felt it too. And then embarrass me at the last fucking moment?"Cut her some slack; remember, she was only bought this morning." Brand said.Fuck. As usual, my wolf was right. I should not have thought that. He already has such a big ego."I’m always right, huh?" Brand couldn't be happier."Fuck off."I needed to think. I hopped into my own shower; I needed a really cold one. She looked so amazing with her dress sticking to her skin, and she stared at me with lust, making my dick hard instantly. She must have felt the attraction, or was that another thing she was faking?I didn’t know what to think. We were both stuck in this relationship now, forced to be together without having a choice. But I knew things were different for her than they were for me. I was raised here; I had a life before I met her. I had girlfriends and sex; I had traveled and fought. I had no fucking clue what life for Aaro had been like at tha
Aaro’s povI knew exactly what I was; I didn’t need some fucking test to tell me.FLASHBACK"Did you know I used to be human?" Grandpa Cy asked.Elora was playing with Grandma April, while Grandpa Cy and I were walking near the horses."So you’re not human anymore?"He laughed, "nope. Although I still look like a fucking human, I am a full werewolf thanks to some weird ass ceremony.""What’s the ceremony?"Grandpa Cy actually blushed, "it doesn’t fucking matter.""So is mom human too?"Grandpa nodded his head. "She was half werewolf; you were actually made before she was changed into an alpha female. So you’re part human too."I didn’t know exactly what Grandpa meant, but I did know Mom was strong, even though she wasn’t very tall."Grandpa, how do you make a baby?"Grandpa turned into the shade of a tomato. "Fuck, where is April. Shit, didn’t mom tell you about this? I don’t fucking know, Ryn. Daddies and mommies love each other and they cuddle and make a baby.""How do Aunt Kat and
Storm’s povI tried to get some work done. I was happy the test went well, considering the alternative would be that dad would sell Aaro to someone else or kill her. I had no fucking clue what he would do, but it wouldn’t be good, and I would never see her again. We rode back in silence, and I thought about this whole damn mess. She hadn’t chosen me. She had no choice. And although this hadn’t been my choice either, Aaro was the type of woman I could picture myself being with. She intrigued me, as not many women do.The geneticist said if she had been born a boy, she could have become an alpha, and if there was any woman I could see as an alpha, it was her. Although she kept her head down most of the time, I saw the defiance in her eyes. When she thought people weren’t looking, she stood up straight with authority, and when she spoke without thinking, she had strength in her voice.Too bad a female alpha could never exist. This world wasn’t ready for a female alpha, and I didn’t even
