I smirked and said, "Oh, really?"

My gaze dropped to Chad's fists that were clenched so tightly that the veins on the backs of his hands stood out.

"What a dishonest little puppy," I mused.

But I loved training puppies.

I sashayed toward Chad, holding his gaze the entire time. Shock flashed across his eyes, and he froze. Only when the tip of my nose nearly brushed his chin did I finally stop.

Standing so close, I could hear his heartbeat racing. A flush spread across his neck, making him all the more enticing.

Comments appeared in front of me again.

"What's going on? Is Vanessa seducing Chad now? Is she trying to use him to make Sean jealous?"

"Oh my god… She just smiled at him, and now he's blushing like crazy."

"I had a fight with Sean," I said. "And I'm not his girlfriend anyway. I just want to be with you right now…"

Chad tilted his head back, his Adam's apple rolled as his neck flushed crimson. I couldn't resist pressing a gentle kiss on it.

He drew in a sharp breath.

"Chad," I whispered.

He hummed in acknowledgement.

I rewarded him with a playful bite on his lips, then loosened the belt of my silk robe. Pinning his hands above his head, I tied them loosely with the belt.

I leaned close to his ear and murmured, "Chad, do you know a person's name is the shortest spell in the world?

"You answered my call, and now you will always be bound to me."
