Chapter 5

Nathan stepped on the gas in a rage and only after having driven for a while, he remembered, how could he let Quinton and Xyla be alone together?

  The car turned sharply.

He needed to kick Quinton out.

Nathan simply couldn\'t stand Quinton\'s eyes as he looked at Xyla.

Turning around, Nathan ordered Xyla\'s ward to be guarded strictly and no one was allowed to enter.

A few days later, Xyla was discharged from the hospital and was escorted back to Nathan’s house on the outskirts by the bodyguards he arranged.

The following days were hard for Xyla. Her bodyguards outside ordered her to do heavy housework every day. As long as she couldn\'t complete it on time, the bodyguards would start punching and kicking her.

She basically can only eat one meal a day and sometimes she won\'t even see a grain of rice.

Her body was extremely weak, and her face was grew pale and haggard. She found that the bodyguards outside seemed to have been changed and after that she had never seen a single one.

Nathan never appeared again, there was no phone, no internet, and even the credible Mother Lulu was not there. She didn\'t know who she could call for help.

  \"Why are you torturing me?\"

Xyla asked humiliatingly and her questioning voice was extremely weak.

The bodyguards laughed, the titular young wife of the Hua family now looked like a peacock with stripped feathers.

Not even as pretty as a chicken.

\"Master ordered to torture you until death.\" A bodyguard said coldly.

Xyla bit her lips tightly, tears welling up in her eyes.

He was the one who loved her, who was willing to give his life to protect her.

But now it was if he hated her and wanted her to die...

Nathan was a thorn in Xyla\'s heart. The thorn that dug deep and hurt her very much. No matter how hard she supported him, he had kicked her and was now rolling down the stairs of life.

After waking up, she had asked her bodyguard to take her home.

But she continued to be trapped in a gilded cage.

While Nathan was together with Queen. He had stayed abroad to take care of his Father who was seriously ill.

\"Nathan, Xyla is there in the group to help you, so I won\'t worry. If I can see my grandson with my own eyes before I leave, how good would that be?\"

\"Dad...\" Nathan held his father’s hand, his throat trembling up.

The doctor\'s advice from the attending physician still in his ears. My father was running out of time. Although the Hua family was rich in money has sufficient medical conditions and the most advanced technology there is, his father’s life still cannot last a year.

“Xyla helping me take care of company affairs?” He thought.

  Having a child with her?

Somehow, he obviously hated her so much, and yet Nathan couldn\'t help feel warmth in his heart thinking of the possibility.

Queen saw the soft emotion in Nathan\'s eyes and she hid the jealousy boiling within her, until Nathan finished his day\'s work in the study at home and told her to go out.

She took a deep breath and pretended to be well and told him, \"Nathan, I can stay with you tonight... Uncle wants a grandson...\"

For a few seconds, Nathan frowned. He took a minute to compose himself and faintly moved Queen\'s arm up, \"I\'m tired, go back.\"

Queen was very reluctant, but she could only leave the study by saying good night to him.

Xyla, that bitch! Suc a pest! She couldn\'t pull her out of Nathan\'s heart! Why was Queen inferior to her?

Nathan didn\'t bother knowing why she did so many cold and cruel things in order to have him fall out of love for Xyla, but when he thought of having a baby, Xyla was the one in his mind?

Except for Xyla, can any other woman really enter his heart? Was it difficult to do?

She was clearly thinking of many vicious and evil plans. Why was it that every time she ruined Xyla, he still won’t dare to look Queen’s way. He couldn\'t help but be deceive by her kind eyes, as his heart instantly becomes soft.

Nathan was lying on the table with a splitting headache.
