Chapter 6

　　Destiny exist and seems to be in play.

　　In recent days, Xyla\'s appetite has greatly diminished and she can\'t help but vomit due to acid reflux.

　　She thought it was bad mood and perhaps she had gotten a stomach ailment, but she remembered the difference of her stomach pain when she had a stomach ailment before. She would not be nauseated nor vomiting uncontrollably as if she had eaten something bad.

　　It was only after Mother Lulu reminded Xyla that she realized that her period had not come for a long time.

　　Xyla had no chance but to leave the room. But let alone go to the hospital, she can’t even leave without authorization. She could only secretly ask Mother Lulu to go to the drugstore to buy a pregnancy test stick. After repeated tests, it was confirmed that she was indeed pregnant.

　　Looking at the two clear lines, Xyla smiled bitterly in the bathroom.

　　If it was before, she would’ve happily told Nathan the news.

　　Xyla imagined what Nathan\'s reaction would’ve been like. He would’ve happily hug her and turning around, jumping up and down, cheering loudly that he was going to be a father. Not to mention he would intensify his efforts to spoil his wife as if she were a rare treasure.

　　However, what was supposed to be a happy event, now feels like a bitter tragedy.

　　She embraced herself as tears flow down her eyes and tried to calm herself for a long time before gently stroking her lower abdomen.

　　She was pregnant with Nathan\'s child, would he still be happy now? Will he give her a chance to explain her grievances? Will he leave Queen and change his mind?

　　“Baby…” she asked the unborn child, “will Daddy ever come back?”

　　No one answered her nor did she knew it herself.

　　When Xyla told Mother Lulu that she was pregnant, Mother Lulu\'s face turned ugly. She did not say congratulations yet her eyes were full of fear.

　　\"Mother Lulu, what\'s the matter?\" Xyla felt something was wrong.

　　\"Fredrick...\"

　　\"What are you talking about?\"

　　\"Well... Master Fredrick once said that he wanted you to get pregnant with the Young Master. But then you killed Miss Berry with your own hands so you’ll have to kill it as well...\"

　　\"He...really said that?\" Xyla\'s knees felt soft and Mother Lulu hurried to help her up.

　　Passing around a quiet corner, Mother Lulu\'s phone vibrated and she answered the phone with a guilty conscience.

　　\"Miss Lin, I... it\'s done.\" Mother Lulu said in a low voice aggrieved. She has never done anything wrong, yet now she can\'t wait to cry.

　　A shrill voice came from over the phone: \"Well done, you did a smart thing.\" This compliment sounded more like a vicious curse.

　　\"Miss Lin, I did what you said...you must not harm my son\'s family...\"

　　\"Dudu...\"

　　Before Mother Lulu finished speaking, Queen had already hung up her phone.

　　Mother Lulu didn\'t get the answer she wanted at all.

　　Fedrick could not do anything to support and was seriously ill in bed.
