“If you want,” she murmured, “I mean, till you feel better,” she was making excuses to herself and him as well. Even he knew there was something that was stopping them both from moving on from each other so he didn’t question her again.
“I don’t think I will be feeling better any time soon,” as he stated very innocently in hopes of making her stay, a fainted smile was formed across her lips.
She had been angry at him for not believing her previously but once she had poured her anger out at him, she realized that if she was in his position, she would have done the same. After days of showing him anger and pushing him away, she had finally calmed down and started to think rationally.
Ryker got up on his feet and hurriedly exit the room very happily, he didn’t want to stay behind and make a mistake that would make her change his mind so he wanted out of the room.
