Luke’s POV

I had spent my entire life learning how to recognize danger before it reached me. As one of the Supreme Alpha triplets, I had been trained to listen to instincts that most wolves ignored and to trust the warnings of my wolf even when my eyes saw nothing unusual.

Yet standing inside that ancient chamber, watching Didi face the creature that her mother had called the Shadow Wolf, I realized that I had never encountered anything like the danger standing before us.

The creature was not

Didi’s POVI could not stop looking at the girl standing beyond the doorway. Every detail of her face felt familiar, from the roundness of her cheeks to the small scar beneath her left eyebrow, yet I had no memory of ever seeing her before. She looked like a younger version of me, but there was something else in her expression that made my heart ache. She was not simply frightened. She looked abandoned, as though she had spent so long waiting for someone that she had forgotten how to hope for anything else."Who are you?" I asked, forcing the words past the tightness in my throat. The girl pressed both hands against the invisible barrier. "You know who I am, Didi. You just don't remember me.""Then help me remember."Her lips trembled, and she glanced over her shoulder into the darkness behind her. For a moment, I thought she was afraid of the creature standing there, but the expression on her face was more complicated than fear. It looked like the hesitation of someone who had been

Didi’s POVThe voice coming from the other side of the doorway had my face, my voice, and a kind of desperation that made my chest ache in a way I could not explain. I stood before the enormous opening beneath the mountain, staring into the darkness while the golden light beneath my skin flickered in response to every trembling word. Somewhere beyond that darkness, someone had been waiting for me since the day I was born, and the memory of the little girl in the hood kept returning to me with painful clarity. I could still see her small hand slipping from mine, her shoulders shaking as she begged me not to leave her behind.I had promised to come back for her.The thought frightened me more than the creature's threats because I could not remember making that promise, yet something deep inside me recognised it as truth. How could I have forgotten a person I had loved enough to make such a promise to? What had happened before my first death that could have left me standing in this lif

Jay’s POVThe moment I raised my weapon toward Didi, I realised that remembering my oath was far more painful than forgetting it had ever been.My hand trembled as I stared at the woman standing in front of me, her eyes wide with disbelief while Luca pulled her closer to his chest. The silver mark beneath my skin burned fiercely, spreading from my chest toward my throat as the voice beneath the mountain continued to echo through my mind. I could feel something ancient pressing against my thoughts, searching through my memories and forcing me to relive a promise made by a man whose blood I carried but whose choices I had never understood.I had been brought into this life to protect Didi, yet the oath I had inherited appeared to demand that I become the very thing I had spent my childhood promising never to be."Jay, put the weapon down," Didi said, her voice trembling as she took a cautious step toward me.Luca immediately tightened his hold around her waist. "Stay back, Didi. We do

Didi’s POV"I chose to die."The words came from my own voice, yet I could not understand how I could have spoken them or what kind of person I must have been to make such a choice. I stood beneath the black moon, staring at the younger version of Jay as he struggled to reach me, while the three enormous wolves surrounding me watched the sky with the alertness of soldiers preparing for their final battle. Everything felt familiar in a way that frightened me, as though I had returned to a place my soul remembered even though my mind had never seen it before."Why would I choose to die?" I whispered, looking at the golden markings glowing across my arms. "What happened here?"The younger Jay finally reached me, grabbing my shoulders as though he feared I might disappear if he loosened his grip. His face was different from the one I knew, younger and less burdened by the memories he carried in this life, but the fear in his eyes was unmistakable."You promised me you would find another

CHAPTER 31Didi’s POVThe Moon Goddess's words remained inside my mind long after her presence faded, leaving me staring at the broken staircase with a question I was almost afraid to ask. I had spent my entire life trying to understand who I was, and every answer I discovered seemed to lead me toward another secret that someone had decided I was not ready to know. Now I was being told that I had lived before this life, that something beneath the mountain had tried to kill me before I was born, and that the only way to stop it was to remember the person I had once been. How was I supposed to remember a life I had never known?"Luca," I whispered, turning toward him as his arms remained securely around me. "What if remembering who I was changes who I am now?"He studied my face for a moment before gently tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "Then we will face that change together. I fell in love with you without knowing the truth about your birth, Didi, and discovering that truth h

Didi’s POVFor several seconds, I could not move, speak, or even convince myself that I had heard the voice correctly. The enormous white eyes beneath the staircase remained fixed on me, and the words they had spoken continued to echo through my mind with a cruelty that made everything I had learned about my birth feel suddenly insignificant. I had spent my entire life believing that I had been an unwanted child, a disappointing daughter, and a girl whose existence somehow made her less deserving of the love everyone else received. Now something ancient beneath the mountain was telling me that I had been killed before I was even born, and the worst part was that it sounded as though it remembered doing it.Luca's hand tightened around mine, pulling me closer to his side as his wolf pushed against his skin. Luke and Leo moved in front of us, their bodies tense and their eyes fixed on the opening beneath the staircase, while Jay stood a short distance away with his weapon raised. Ev

Luca’s POVMy instincts caught movement at the corner of my eye, and my green gaze snapped toward the side of the garden where Jay was approaching. In one swift move, I stepped forward, blocking Didi from seeing him.“Leo, Luke, take Didi away…now!” My voice came out in a dangerous growl as I prepa

~Jay~ The ballroom was filled with laughter, clinking glasses, and the low rhyme of music. Yet, despite the golden chandeliers and the glimmering crowd, none of it reached me.
