When we got back home, Brian and his beautiful woman was no where to be seen.

"Bye Matt, thank you so much for today and thank you for taking care of my sister." I thanked him gratefully.

Matt was kind although I knew they kind of jobs they all did behind their smiles, he was more better compared to my so called husband.

"I did nothing Ralda. It was all Brian." He said, and gave me a thumbs up before walking away.

I sighed, shaking my head as I walked up the stairs.

I got to my room and opened the door.

Behold, the king himself was on the bed, typing away on his laptop.

"Good evening." I greeted.

He said nothing, he didn't even move an inch but I knew that he knew I was back.

I ignored him as well, walking to the closest to get my night wear so I'd take my bath.

Just as I reached for the bathroom doorknob, his voice rang in the room. Dark. Cold.
