29. Bringing Back the 80s

"Are you going to get off of me? You weigh a ton!" I cried as Jake was still lying on top of me. At first, the weight of his body felt good. Almost comforting. But then he showed no sign of getting up, and I could barely breathe. Stupid Jake.

"Five more minutes," he groaned.

"Get off, or I'll bite your shoulder," I threatened.

"Kinky," he mumbled and buried his face in my neck.

"JAKE!" I cried.

"Okay, okay, jeez," he chuckled then got up.

"Why are you so heavy. You look skinny.

"Yup, it's because I have all muscle weight and not an ounce of fat, baby," he bragged and flexed his arms.

I rolled my eyes. He can be such a moron sometimes.

"Hey, did you mean what you said earlier? When you said I was beautiful?" I asked. I couldn't help it. It was still hard for me to trust a compliment, especially when it was coming from Jake. The boy who always insulted me, calling me a plain Jane.
