37. Mysterious Occurrence
I nervously knocked on his bedroom door. I hoped Aaron was telling me the truth and Jake wanted me back as much as I wanted him.
"GO AWAY, AARON! I said I don't wanna come out," Jake and from inside.
"It.. it's Jane," I said.
The door flew open.
"Janey!" he cried and threw his arms around me and pulled me into a hug. I buried my face in his chest.
"I thought you would never speak to me again after the way I treated you. I'm so sorry," he whispered into my hair.
"I'm sorry too. For everything," I said. My eyes were full of tears. It felt too good to be in his arms.
"It wasn't your fault Janey. I was a jerk to you and my brother was the biggest idiot on the planet," he reassured me.
"I deserve that!" Aaron shouted from another room.
I tiptoed and smashed my lips against his.
"Ouch!" he cried. Shit, I forgot his nose was messed up.
"I'm so sorry!" I yelled.

It turned out. My parents hadno problem with Aaron tagging along with his girlfriend. More the merrier, they said. So off we went, onour family trip. Four of us decided to go to an amusement park. It was a nice day out, perfect for some outdoor activities. "Oh, look! A Ferris wheel. Let's ride that.
