CHAPTER 2

Patrick turned and stared at the entrance door as it pushed open, revealing a pretty maid in a pink uniform. He felt sluggish, as if he were weightless, staring at her pretty face. He felt drawn to walk up to her and seize her as she walked into his sitting room, her cute, round, chubby face meeting his cold gaze. She carried a tray of his evening meal in her hands, and he suspected his mother had sent her to deliver his dinner.

Patrick clutched the third bottle of alcoholic wine he was gulping and slowly removed it from his lips.

Loveth stopped in front of Patrick and flashed him the most beautiful smile he had ever seen. He dropped the wine bottle on the bar top and stood up sluggishly to meet her. Her black, shining eyes hastily averted from his, focusing on the tray in her hands as he staggered toward her, sniffing her like a dog. She froze at his sudden behavior.

Loveth had never seen a handsome guy like Patrick before. She had initially refused when her mother spoke to her about moving into the Andersons' home to serve the elderly Mrs. Eleanor Anderson.

However, after much pleading from her mother and two younger sisters, Janet and Juliet, Loveth accepted and moved into the mansion.

Seeing the handsome man dressed in a red, expensive shirt and black trousers approach her, she felt her blood pressure rise, and her grip on the tray tightened when he sniffed her like a dog.

"Do I smell bad?" Loveth wondered, and her cute smile immediately faded.

Patrick ignored Loveth and sauntered to his bedroom.

Loveth stood speechless, unsure what to do. Mrs. Eleanor Anderson had told her that her son had a weak stomach from birth and that she should ensure he ate well, as she had given birth to him at an older age.

Loveth's grip on the tray, containing a plate of jollof rice, fried chicken lap, and some freshly cooked pepper soup with scented leaves, tightened as she hesitated on where to place it.

Standing there for a while, Loveth saw the young master of the house step into his room, and she didn't know which room entered.

It was just her second day and second night working there, and she wasn't the maid responsible for tidying his rooms. She breathed out heavily and looked around his wide sitting room. From the purple seven couches placed in different locations to his standing shelves containing books that drew her attention, even though she couldn't read properly, to the white-painted walls, she realized the Andersons loved the color white. Every corner of the four-story building, including the exterior, was painted white.

Loveth sighed and walked to the bar to place Patrick's dinner there, unsure what to do next.

She hesitated for a moment, considering whether to knock on the door he had entered, but she shook her head and stepped backward, walking to exit the sitting room and entering the elevator that took her downstairs to the last floor.

Loveth saw Mrs. Eleanor retiring to her room, her husband being away for medical treatment. Mrs. Eleanor smiled at Loveth and waved her closer. "Come!" she whispered.

"Yes, ma'am," Loveth replied.

"Has my son eaten his dinner that I sent to him? Did he like the meal?" Mrs. Eleanor asked in a series of questions.

Loveth swallowed and stared downward, shaking her head. "No, ma'am. Master didn't respond to me and went back into one of the rooms."

Mrs. Eleanor frowned, and Loveth felt sorry for her as she met her gaze. Mrs. Eleanor didn't say anything, knowing her son was stubborn and wouldn't eat his dinner. She continued her slow walk to her chambers, and Loveth, feeling uncomfortable with Mrs. Eleanor's sad look, immediately rushed up to her. "Ma, should I...?"

Mrs. Eleanor stopped and stared back at Loveth. "What is it?"

"Should I go and check on Master again to see if he has eaten his dinner?"

Mrs. Eleanor nodded, and Loveth, being the helpful lady she was, hastily darted away and rushed back to the elevator, heading up to Master Patrick's room on the fourth floor.

Meanwhile, Patrick had just stepped out of his bathroom, not even wrapping his white towel around his waist, as he loved stepping out naked from his bathroom since he was in his room. He remembered the look of his mother's new maid and shook his head in rejection as he dried his wet, taut body. He loved to gym, and his biceps and well-chiseled chest were a striking sight.

Patrick remembered the videos of his girlfriend, Willow Albert, in the arms of his rival, Tony Miles, and his brows furrowed.

Willow thought Patrick was stupid and didn't have enough information, and she to travel to New York City with Tony to have fun and wild pleasures.

Patrick's hold on his towel tightened as Tony knew he loved Willow so much and intended to marry her.

Tony Miles, a 29-year-old CEO of Miles Corporation, was always in competition with Patrick, copying everything his hotel did, monitoring his business. Even wanting to extract some personal information about his top sponsors from his mobile app through his fiancee Willow.

Patrick felt a surge of anger. Willow was 24 years old, a hot brunette beauty with rich brown skin. She was slim-figured with a simple, sexy shape and had small, orange-sized breasts.

Patrick breathed out in anger, remembering he had a business meeting with some private sponsors at 10 PM. Glancing at the magnificent wall clock in his room, he saw the time was 9:15 PM sharp.

Exhaling, Patrick dried his short brown hair, roughly rubbing it with a towel to stop the water from dripping onto his bare, masculine body. He walked to his full-view wall mirror on the right side of his room, which was painted white with a bright LED light hanging brightly from the ceiling and milk-colored curtains hanging on the walls.

Staring at his handsome dark reflection in the mirror, Patrick frowned.

He was handsome, hot-blooded, and yet Willow had chosen to cheat on him with Tony, a rival.

Patrick stared at his dîck and shook his head in irritation. Many ladies had gawked at him in the hotel, but he had chosen Willow because she was hot and charming as a model. He had thought she was innocent, with her deceitful face looking like that of a poor, innocent girl. But when they had sex, he realized she was no virgin but a wild and dominant partner in bed.

Patrick still loved Willow's craziness and how she overpowered him. He was no saint either, and their night and office romances were incredibly fun. He also owned a Celebrity Cover magazine that shot and displayed past events hosted in his hotel.

As Patrick continued to stare at his handsome, unclad reflection in the mirror, he thought about how Willow had dumped him for his rival, Tony Miles, who was also huge and taller, and two years older.

Just then, Patrick heard the elevator leading to his chamber ding and open. He was sure that the new maid his mother had introduced had already left. He thought it was probably another maid who had come to pick up something and was certain they wouldn't dare come near his room.

Patrick threw his towel onto the executive chair and approached the drawer near his wide wall mirror, taking out some cream to moisturize his hard body. He was a little drunk and, remembering his hot nights with Willow, he felt his dîck harden at the thought. He groaned and applied the cream to his palms, rubbing it in.

Meanwhile, Loveth stepped into the wide living room belonging to the younger house master, as the other maids called him. She looked around the sitting room, not seeing Patrick. She remembered that his mother had mentioned he had a weak stomach and walked to his bar to pick up the tray of food that was almost getting cold.

Loveth approached his room door, which was unlocked. Holding the trays in both hands, she couldn't knock, so she used her leg to push the door open and walked in.
