Chapter 38 : Again
Ayara stares at Rosa for a long minute. After she had enough of watching the human cry, Ayara finally sighed and spoke to her. “Would you mind sitting next to me for a while, Rosa? I promise that I won’t be long.”
Rosa was of course reluctant to do that since she wasn’t too trusting of the woman at that moment but later, she caved in and nodded. She walks towards Ayara and sat beside her.
“Did you know that none of the brothers wanted to face each other until you came?”
Rosa frowned. “Are you trying to say that they met because of me and I’m the reason for Armand to die? Geez, thanks for rubbing that to my face.”
Ayara chuckled. “You said it, not me. Let me finish dear. Their inability to face each other all steams down to disappointment and anger at what had happened to the former queen, Rosa. Sitting in front of the mirror, Rosa’s eyes were still glued to the dark fingerprints of Armand’s hand around her neck.
