Chapter 19 MEET HIS FATHER

It was three dawn when I carefully sat up from my bed. I looked at my phone and let out a sigh when I didn’t receive any replies from Annaliese.

I have been messaging her for hours but her number was unreachable and I don’t have a trace of where she’s been.

The still dark scenery from the outside were somehow calming, I look at myself and realize that I was only wearing my underwear as a muscled and veiny arm was draped over my waist.

That’s when I saw Keigan, silently snoring and laying on his chest, his back was slowly heaving caused by his breathing. I stared at his face for a few more minutes and I couldn’t help but to go near him.

I lay my head at the pillow he was using, I was facing his direction and our face were only an inch away from each other. His hot and ragged breath was touching the sensitivity of my skin that I was absentmindedly biting my lower lip to avoid laughing.
