“Are you sure of your plans?“ Dad was sitting across me, my arms were stretched on the backrest of the couch as lights flickered, coming from the disco ball.

“Of course, dad. Damphirs aren’t really my thing. I’m not ready to get married but if it’s the only thing I can do so Keddrick can finally marry who he wants, then I’ll do it.“ I shrugged my shoulders, totally not bothered about marrying someone who I don’t like.

I’m doing this for my brother anyway. As Keddrick Acheron wants to marry someone that is not fated to him, unluckily, that woman whom my brother wants to marry was my supposed damphir. And enable to avoid clashing with the rules all I could think of was finding Keddrick’s real fated damphir so I can marry her.

In that way, my brother can marry my damphir for an exchange. Easy as that.
