Damn, I Snapped!

Alistair has been very busy for the past two days. I barely ever saw the strand of his silver hair in the palace. So my days were kinda boring without him around. 

I spent the whole afternoon at the temple, helping with the rebuilding, teaching the children how to read and write, and even helped Jasper with his little garden. My body felt sore and I was exhausted. But my mind seemed to have a different idea. 

At nighttime, I laid groaning in bed. I tried to sleep early for the sake of my body, but my mind just won't shut up. 

I sighed and stared up at the golden canopy of my bed. I was hoping I could go to sleep and be done with it but... I felt even more energized for some reason. My mind was wide awake.
