Alexander went to open the door and clear his curiosity. To his surprise he saw someone familiar.

"Hi Ms Laurel, hey Max, hey Abigail" Raymond stuck his head out and greeted before entering. He moved towards them while Alexander went to his room to get his bag.

They greeted Raymond back but for a reason he felt uncomfortable by the gaze of his Principal. Yeah his Principal! Ms Laurel was Alexander's Aunty and also their High School Principal and well as expected she was nice but also very strict.

I mean very very that she made Raymond afraid because he never knew what of her he would meet each them the see.

Whether it was the nice part of her of the very strict one.

Under the heavy gaze his eye shifted and connected to the delicacy on the table in front of Max and his eyes glowed like he had seen a treasure.

His mood brightened and switched to his agile self in an instant.

"Hold up is that scrambled eggs garnished with tomatoes and onions with... oh damn sliced milk bread my favorite!"

"Max do you mind?" He quickly asked. Seeing that the kid didn't mind he went to grab the food to stuff if into his mouth but before he could do that a Alexander caught his hand and redirected him to the door.

"Am back let's go" Raymond was caught off guard and he knew his hopes to eat were gone because they had to leave now so he gave up and squeeze his chest enduring the false heart ache he got from admiring a delicious meal and not getting the chance to eat it.

Not even a single bite? His eyes begged but seeing Alexander expression he finally let it go.

"Fine let's go"

When they were about exiting through the door Ms Laurel called out Raymond and his neck shrunk by her scary voice.

"Have a nice day" He nodded unable to speak before sighing in relief and then dragging his best friend quickly outside.

Man that woman is a real definition of torture.

.....

Vroom! Vroom!

The sound of two powerful engine surparsed other lower sound. Two exact model of powerbikes halted in the parking lot, it had two different colours. The one Alexander got off from was black while Raymond's own was deep dull blue with a bit of black.

"Well what excuse do you have to say now that I won" Alexander uttered praising himself while sprinkling a bit of mockery at Raymond.

"Let's say Lady luck decided to pity you today" The shameless boy spat out. They both owned the two bike so they decided to race from Alexander's house to school and that was Raymond's true purpose of going to Alexander's house.

The two walked towards the school building which was filled with students flowing inside the school. Star Field High School was a High standard school enough to contain the whole student in the city. The duo climbed up the the stairs while scanning for familiar faces while chatting.

Alexander laughed at Raymond's reply before speaking.

"I don't remember there being a rule like - stop and wait for Alexander to admire some hot chick before we continued the race"

"Wait we don't have that rule? Then we should surely add it" They burst into laughter but slowly silenced by the countless gazes that shot at them as try opened the school front door to enter the building.

Well what could they say it's not their fault they were at the top table of the famous student in Star Field High School known for their trouble making.

They always got into trouble one way or another. They smirked and moved towards their lockers acknowledging the gazes with their expression.

"We have gotten more famous Ray"

"All thanks to the promotion the school gave us" As for the promotion, he meant all the detention, punishment and bad deeds being talked about by the teachers and students kind of promotion.

They arrived at their lockers selecting the books to take for their first period.

"About last night...how is your hand that got bitten, I wasn't able to see the animal were you?" Raymond launched his question as his locker was closed.

Alexander paused when he heard Raymond and then his hand slightly touched the injured area which was covered by the leather jacket sleeves.

His mind travelled back to last night as he attempted to remember what happened. The image was blurry in his head but he still remembered how it started.

He and Raymond heard a load roar from an animal before the rumbling and ground shaking took over. That was when they took their heels, it's happened so fast when he jumped the next minute he felt a deep sharp pain from the bite and before he could really see what bit him he crashed down and was knocked out.

Gathering the information his eye flashed and he was able to realise something. He spoke.

"I think I know now it was..."

.....

12 Hours earlier.

Star Field City was a well developed city despite it being well developed there were forest around the city with thick bushes at certain locations.

Those deep forest where used for game reserve and hunters were were attracted to Start Field for that purpose, making Start Field special for some people.

Inside the deep forest, an unusual event was occuring starting from the wind blowing fiercely due to the speed of the shadows running in between and avoiding the trees.

Twigs snapped and the floor was vibrating a bit. The shadows the passed by were a pack of werewolves that had been traveling to this city and they finally arrived during the sunset.

Unlike other strong werewolf pack, they were far much stronger, fiercer and merciless to their target. This werewolf pack also had one goal with was to take the Wolf's Legacy by killing the Primordial Alpha Wolf.

They were the Calamity Blood Wolf Pack . A pack of ruthless and power hungry Alphas in a total number of 15. The Calamity Blood Wolf Pack hunted other Alphas for more power in the past to reach the powerful position they were in presently.

They had no betas in their packs as they signified weakness in a werewolf pack. They had heard about the hunt going on for months about the Primordial Alpha but they knew no one was capable to putting the old wolf to rest.

So they waited patiently for the Primordial Alpha to be greatly weakened by the numerous attacks before choosing to strike and now the time presented itself to them and they were ready.

They chose to strike last when the Primordial Alpha had received a lot of injuries.

According to their information, the Primordial Alpha had been weakened very well so they decided to attack tonight and reap the gain for their pack so they could increase their powerhouse strength.

.....

Within the Star Field City the Shadow Moon Wolf Pack, a large pack got a first hand information and immediately informed their pack leader.

"What! The Calamity Blood Wolf Pack are here coming to Star Field?"

"Damn!" He couldn't believe what he heard, actually he didn't want to believe it because he knew things were going to turn for good to bad for them if this happens.

The Shadow Moon Pack Leader panicked upon receiving the news. He thought about the Calamity Blood Pack evil deeds with their power and he felt a cold chill down his spine making him shiver. This kind of feeling made he furious and afraid at the same time.

Some minutes later he relaxed his mind and thought about it once more.

'Normally I thought the Calamity Blood Pack were distance away or unwilling to take the risk so they avoided joining the battle but I was wrong. They intentionally didn't intervene so they other forces could weaken the Primordial Alpha and casualties will also be on them while they would get the kill ' Finally figuring it out he frowned so hard his face became cold.

He wasn't going to back down easily as he had powerhouses behind him even though it was incomparable to the Alpha Pack the temptation on the Primordial Alpha's Power got into head he was read to sacrifice for it.

The leader's eyes shone deep red as he looked at the beta behind him.

"Nothing changes, proceed with the plan and send a message for an urgent meeting now to all the pack leaders"

The Shadow Moon Pack Leader spoke and the beta was astounded but under the pack leader's order who was he to defy?

He nodded in reply and vanished from his spot.

"This needs to be done tonight, I have sacrificed a lot for this, no one can stop this from happening" He slowly murmured thinking about the Alpha Pack.

I need to use the restroom,” she said lightly as she passed by.Ray stood up and hurried after her. “Daisy!” he called, but she continued walking.Once she entered the restroom, Alex followed and gently held her shoulder.“What?” Daisy asked, frowning.“You’re mad,” Alex said softly.“So?” Daisy shrugged, trying to hide it.“It doesn’t suit you. You’re better when you’re… calm,” Ray said, still holding her hand.Daisy kept quiet, though her frown softened slightly.“You know I’m not into Katherine,” Ray added.“I don’t know…” Daisy hesitated.“Im not into her it’s you I care about. Not her,” Ray blurted out, almost without thinking.Daisy’s eyes widened, and a soft blush appeared as the words sank in.Daisy wasn’t listening anymore. No wonder! No wonder! Ruth became visible again, her mind racing with thoughts. She truly didn’t know how powerful the Wolf’s Legacy was, but she could sense it—it was stronger than any normal power. Right now, she was starting to understand its depth. It was… tempting."What do you mean?" Alex asked, growing more curious."My father told me," Ruth began, her voice low, "the Alpha Devouring Touch is one of the Primordial Alpha’s powers. With a single touch, you can absorb another’s power, become immune to it… or completely devour it, so the victim can never use it again. And you can even return it, if you want."Alex and Ray’s hearts pounded in their chests. It was terrifying, almost unimaginable."But to you, it’s a double-edged sword," Ruth continued. "If your body can’t handle it, it will kill you."Alex stayed silent, listening intently."Alex," Ruth said firmly, "do not ever attempt it until you become an Alpha. Do you understand?""Yes," Alex nodded."But what happens if he does

Three figures ran at full speed and stopped in front of an old warehouse. They stepped inside carefully—two females and one male. Ruth was one of the females; the other two were her friends. The stench hit them first: blood, decay, and death. They rounded a corner and froze. Bodies lay strewn across the floor, covered in blood. Ruth’s eyes locked on the man who had fallen to the ground after Duke had removed his claws from the man’s stomach.“Duke! What the hell did you do?!” one of the females shouted.Duke’s voice was calm, evil even, as he kicked the body aside. “Relax. I did this for everyone. It’s simple—you kill us, or we kill you. I chose the latter.”“You just started a war between the hunters and the werewolves,” Ruth said coldly. The people Duke had killed were hunters sent to negotiate with the werewolves, to set boundaries and prevent further bloodshed. But Duke had ignored it all, killing his own allies. The male hunter stared at the two women beside him, helpless.“No… y
