All my willpower vanished, I stood there and watched as he marched to the closet, he disappeared for a while and came back out in just his boxers. He walked over to me and his expression softened, " Why are you not in bed " he asked me and he kissed my cheek. " Do you love me " I asked him looking deep into his eyes he frowned and took a step back and looked away. 

It was as if my words burned him and he seeked to get away from the source of the fire 🔥 His face hardened, his jaw clenched and teeth bared. I watched as his muscles twitched, he breathed in large chunks of air as if trying to calm himself by filling his lungs with oxygen.
